I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive when my husband pulled this air conditioning unit out of our landlords shed. I wasn't too keen on having the window open all the time, and was even less keen on the idea of having to endure large amounts of noise in order to stay cool. Nonetheless I let him install it and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! We used it throughout the duration of the summer, and it worked so well we will be installing it this year as well.  The noise it made was minimal compared to some of the other units we had seen, even though many people complain of it being loud.  And the best part was we didn't have to have it on for very long at all because it seemed to cool our house through very quickly.  We would turn it on for half our sprints at a time, and then be able to turn it back off again because it had already done its job.  As I am planning on using this unit again I would definitely recommend it to someone.

**Kenmore 75281 Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner has been a great unit for my family.  We have central air that no longer works so we have a small unit on the main floor and the **Kenmore 75281 Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner in our master bedroom upstairs.  We only use it in the evening and at night with a fan blowing the air throughout the rest of the rooms.  It truly makes the room COLD.**** **I love the remote that it comes with.  I never have to get out of bed if it gets too cold in our room.** **I would say there are two main cons to the **Kenmore 75281 Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner . . . it is VERY expensive to run and is loud.  It definetly doubles our electric bill when we use it but I would not be without it in the summer!  The second is that it is loud.  If you have a fard time sleeping with noise, this unit is not for you.  Also, if it rains and the rain hits the unit, it is very LOUD because the outside of the unit is made of metal.  It sounds like coins are being thrown at the unit.****

Largest 3 ton unit seized after 6 years. They replaced the compressor but it cost me 700 out of pocket. 2nd capacitor was replaced today. ??? down three times in less than 6 years. Pathetic. I bought a new furnace and coil, Carrier. After six years, I am going to replace the entire system and converting to an entire new Trane system. It is a shame that the furnace and coil have to go but I am tired of my air going down. The first time I called Aire-flo in April, they do not even answer the phone or emails. There is no communication with the customer or even our contractor. Thank God, there is competition. I hope they go out of business. Bad value. Fair price, unfair quality.. Poor value!!

I just brought, the kemore 75281 Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner and i have to say that it came at the right time, i had my old General Eleric one for about a good fifteen years, it just stoped working this summer so i rushed out and went shopping for a new one and i was glad that i did. Because it was a hot summer they had a sale at the store so i brought two for the house. I really do like my new air conditioner very much. As a bussy mom on the go i need a good product to help clean my house. Kemore is one of the better products out their and i'm really glad that i had invested my money in it because it cleans the clothes big loads and small as well now my whole family are happy.

The  Kenmore 75281 Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner is alright. The price is very reasonable, compared to other air conditioners, but I do not think it is worth the money I spent. Even though I bought the correct BTU, it still takes quite a while for my room to cool down. I am pretty sure it is not because of my room location (I am on the second floor of a tall apartment complex), I just think it is not too great of an air conditioner! My friends have GE and LG air conditioners, and they said they do not have problems with their air conditioners - their rooms cool down much more quickly than mine does, though! I will still keep this air conditioner, because it was so inexpensive! But next time, I am going to try out a General Electric or LG one - perhaps they will work faster! The remote control included with this air conditioner is very helpful, though! It works with no problem, and no interference has ever occurred.

This air conditioner is wonderful,  it is so conveint too  when you have a room that is stil to warm when you are running CA just turn this one on and your room temperture will go down.  Mine has a remote control. on,off,set timer,set control temp.  This air conditioner will even cool a room that does not have existing air in it. A med siz room .  The price was good too!
