I have always wanted a KitchenAid Stand Mixer. Now I finally got it! Mixing Performance Seems like it mixes things much better than a normal mixer. More thorough mixing. Ease of Cleaning So simple to clean! They say it's not dishwasher safe - so I'm not risking ruining it. Hand washing it is very easy and thorough. The mixer itself just needs wiped off usually. Ease of Use So easy to use. Mixes everything for you very thoroughly. So far I've only tried dessert items with my mixer, but I'm planning on mixing up meatballs and other items. There is an accessory available for the top so you can put ingredients in without it making a mess (flour flying everywhere, etc.). This shield should also make it easier to clean the mixer itself. Design When I first looked at the mixers I didn't realize that a 7 qt. was available. Was so glad to have found the bigger one for mixing larger quantities and different things because it also has the bigger motor and better quality. Durability So far so good. Don't know what could possibly mess it up.
