I love the smoothie style coffee at coffee houses. This blender has been able to get that very smooth texture of blended ice drinks. My kids love that it can make a smoothie like those in the stores. Blending Power I never have a problem with getting the ice to blend all the way. I never have chunks of ice. If I bring the speed down it works great for recipes. I have yet to have any issues with the pulse either. Versatility Easy to use and the motor is not as loud as some of the cheaper blenders I purchased Ease of Cleaning The blade is in the polycarbonate pitcher and does not come off. As long as it is cleaned immediately no problem. However the bottom of the pitcher sometimes get a dark right from the spinning. The polycarbonate pitcher does clean easily. Ease of Use Very quick and easy to use. Design The design is nice and looks great with my other appliances. Durability My kitchenaid products last forever.
