Very satisified with our recent purchase

5

After over ten years of solid use with our previous Kitchenaid dishwasher, just recently purchased this model. After much comparison shopping and reading reviews, a lot on here, decided that this was the one. Simply put, the Kitchenaid name was the first check on the list, then price, then what other customers were saying. After the purchase and about two weeks of use, have nothing but good things to say about another wonderful Kitchenaid item in our house. The exterior look is wonderful, plenty of room inside, easy to use controls, quiet, gets items clean, along with a few added little touches. My favorite being the individual fork and knife slots in the baskets. Noise Level Very quiet, no need to raise the volume on our tv which is located directly above it. Cleaning Time Under 1 hour for normal wash. Loading Flexibility Plenty of room, use it on average every 3-4 days. Performance Provides what you want- clean dishes and cups! Design Clean, modern, love the slick black. Durability So far so good, very good.

A great Dishwasher... worth the price!

We shopped and shopped... finally found a great dishwasher that was beautiful and cleaned dishes very well. It has the extra rack on the very top and doesn't have the "sprayer" sticking up the middle rack. It holds a lot more than my previous dishwasher AND we don't have to "prewash" the dishes!!!

KitchenAid S Series Built-In Dishwasher does the job

I use my dishawasher daily and am happy with it. It looks great with all of my appliances. I prefer to use powder soap over liquid. The liquid tends to stick in the dispenser. i have also had problems with tons of water spots otherwise it is a great little washer. It has an energy saver option whcih I take advantage of. You can adjust your level of cleaning. I felt like I paid a decent price for it. It is fairly quiet and worth the money. It basically washes the dishes and gets the job done. I can get lots of dihses in it and has a removeable silverware holder. The loading baskets slide in and out with ease. It is simple to use pretty self explanitory. I like it enough to use it everyday for the price I bought it at.

Love, Love, Love my kitchenAid dishwasher!

We purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher about 6 months ago to replace our 10 year old GE model dishwasher. A couple of the important characteristics needed was for it to be very quiet (our kitchen opens right into our great room) and for it to have a stainless steel drum. Although the KitchenAid was a little more expensive than some of the others we looked at it had all of our qualifications and it was large enough to hold lots of dishes. The shelves are adjustable if needed. It is truly whisper quiet and we often aren't sure if it is running or not. One thing that was initially very annoying was the buttons on the front. They are very sensative and the dishwasher can be turned on just by brushing against one of the buttons. It does have a lock feature that works fine - once you get in the habit of locking it after every use. Other than the one minor issue, I would highly recommend this dishwasher!

Kitchenaid diswashers are awesome

We couldn't wait to get rid of our old dishwasher and when it finally died, I knew that I wanted a Kitchenaid.  I was not disappointed.  We simply wanted a dishwasher that cleaned well.  The S-Series washer is unbelievebly quiet and we can carry on a conversation without leaving the kitchen.  The racks are well-made and we can load a large number of dishes, pots and pans, etc. and they still come out perfectly clean.  The glassware practically sparkles and not even water spots are on them!  The racks are moveable and this allows for taller pots to be put on the bottom.  We have  four hour delay function and that works great as well. We have tried a couple of different dishwasher soaps and the dishwasher is fine handling whatever we throw at it.  Kitchenaid washers are pretty pricey up front but we have the energy saver and we think that it will save us money in the end.  Overall, I would recommend this washer to anyone who wants something reliable and super hardworking.
