It drys the clothes super fast so that you don't have to wait for it to sing the song to you. We have the matching washer and we couldn't have picked a better set. We are a family of 6 so there's a ton of laundry all the time!

Bought the dryer brand new in January of 2016. 3 months later it stopped working. Technician said the mother board needed to be replaced. Waiting close to 3 weeks for the part... still not here. Told it would take another 5 weeks. Asked LG for a replacement/refund. Still working through that process... now into week 5 with no resolution. BUYER BEWARE. LG customer support has failed me miserably with this unit. If you do buy it, make sure you buy all of the extra warranties with it... consdier that advice my gift to you. BEWARE.......

This dryer is absolutely amazing. I love all of the different functions that it has. The steam function does a great job releasing wrinkles. I love that I can add more time to virtually any type of load--towels, cotton, delicate, heavy duty, bulky, etc. It does a great job making sure that all items are dried. It also has a sensor, so that once the items are dry, the dryer shuts off. It is definitely energy efficient and very easy to use. I upgraded from a standard front load dryer to this dryer and I couldn't be happier. I actually no longer dread doing laundry. Load Capacity This holds so much laundry! I feel like it cuts my laundry time in half. It probably can hold two standard loads. Performance Does an excellent job drying clothing and items evenly. Everything is electronic and easy to use. I love that there are so many options to choose from when drying and I love that I have various options within the drying options, such as more or less dry, sound of the timer, steam option, wrinkle release option and others. Ease of Use Super easy to use. Durability Very durable. I have no had any issues with this machine. Design Excellent design and easy to empty the lint trap.

I purchased this model in addition to the LG WM3570HVA washer. It looks similar to the washer, only it dries. On the outside, it has a tinted window, big buttons for starting/pausing a load and power, as well as the selecting knob and a backlit display for readability. They have many load type selections as well as a steamer option to get clothes wrinkle-free. If you pack your clothes into the dryer, you may want to put the most wrinkled clothes in afterwards to get those creases out. Surprisingly it worked well with a very creased pair of pants I had, which was impressive. The lint trap is a long flat piece that when you pull out, you can see the lint is trapped on both sides. Either rinse it off or just give it a brush-- the lint comes right on off. Whereas the washer did not have a light, this dryer has an incandescent bulb inside so you can at least see what's inside. What I don't like about this dryer is that the drum is not stainless steel, but is a painted alcosta steel drum, as opposed to a traditional steel drum. I suppose LG wanted to keep their manufacturing price low in that decision. So far, the dryer gets my clothes really dry (takes a bit but my towels are always fluffy dry, I don't have to put it in again for an extra X amount of minutes). If anyone is looking for a stackable unit, all you need is a stacking kit and you can have these two great machines in your home (and it doesn't take that much space up either, it's a little over 80" tall). Load Capacity Large drum holds a lot of laundry. I can stuff 2 large towels, a large bathrobe, miscellaneous towels, a fitted sheet, a top sheet, 6 pillow cases, and 4 liners and it can still hold a little more. Performance Depending on the load type and your choice, it may take a bit for it to dry, but it does get all your clothes dry. Ease of Use Just like its washer companion, the buttons and knobs are easy to read and use. Durability The dryer seems pretty sturdy for now. Design It's beautifully designed, it's very glossy and looks very upscale.

Bought last year and love the extras that you can do, program your own schedule and the steam clean for killing germs! Color is nice and its easy to keep clean. Very durable and lets you do large loads, for example, queen comforter and blankets. We use these everyday, and no problems with them and the clothes feel very clean after using them! Love the LG brand

The large capacity dryer does a good job at drying clothes, but the steam part of the dryer does not work very well on getting winkles out of clothes. If you don't take is out the clothes when the dryer cycle ends, the clothes still have winkles on them. It works better on winkles if the clothes are took out when the cycle ends. When drying a large amount of sheets, the sheets gets twisted around its and does not dry all the way. Load Capacity It does dry a large capacity of clothes at one time. It is good for large families that has a lot of clothes at one time. Drying like type of clothes works the best, because when heavy clothes are dried with light clothes, the heavy clothes are not very dry. Performance The dryer make a lot of noise when the dry's cycle is on. Ease of Use The control panel is very easy to use. The control features are very easy to set. Durability The dryer may last a couple of year. Have only own it for a year and half and it still works like new. Design the steam dryer is a lot larger then the standard dryers, not good for small spaces. It takes up a lot of space in the Landry room
