This LG AC, has turned out to be a great choice.  The AC sits on the floor of the room and a tube goes out the window, which is not noticeable at all.  It's a bit loud when it kicks on to cool, but is great for even a medium sized room.  I cools our upstairs in the hot and humid Midwest summers!
