This fridge is wonderful. It holds its temps well and is overall relatively quiet. If you don't connect the water line for the ice maker, make sure you look in the freezer for that shut off button. If you don't, you'll hear a machine gun noise every hour. We just make ice or buy bagged ice and place it in that space. Very well lit inside the fridge. Don't let the colors fool you, the sides are the only areas that are magnetic.

The second year we owned our LG fridge the motherboard went out - no warranty on it. The 6th year of ownership the compressor went out, needs to be replaced by an authorized service dealer - and we pay the labor - closest one to us is 90 miles away (our bad I guess) I liked the fridge & the features but 6 years of service?????? No way BTW we had an LG TV that lasted just barley 6 yrs. Steer clear of LG products they are not durable unless you have money to throw away stay away from LG

We purchased this refrigerator to replace an older model side by side. We were limited in our options because of the size of our small kitchen and were thrilled to have found this unit that met both our style and measurement requirements. After 2+ years, the unit is still working well with a few minor issues due more to use than any kind of defect. The frig is very quiet when running--the ice-maker we hooked up makes the most noise we hear from it. And the open-door alarm is a great feature to have, especially with forgetful kids in the house. Our biggest issue with the frig has been the shelving -- they are a solid one piece for each shelf. Having the option of split-shelves would give you more storage options and capabilities, but we've worked around it. All in all, a good refrigerator for the money.

Overall, though it is made well and works well, it is too small. We have two adults and a 6 month old and it gets way too cluttered for just us. There is no way it could work for a larger family. Noise Level It is very quiet. Sometimes you hear a quiet hum, but that is going to be with any and all fridges. The ice maker may drop ice once in a while, but besides that you don't ever hear it. When you leave the door open it will beep until you close it which is a nice feature to have so the cool air doesn't get wasted, as well as electricity. Interior Organization Its not organized well. Its shelves are placed to where it is hard to fit much in there. Especially being a baker and needing a larger space to place bowls or cakes, there isn't room to do that without moving around or taking out a lot of stuff. Temperature Control The temperature of the fridge stays nice and cool and consistent. But, all of a sudden one day the freezer started freezing over and weve tried everything to get it to stop and it just freezes back over. Ease of Cleaning Its pretty easy to clean. Though, if things fall down the back of the freezer they will fall out the bottom so sometimes ice falls through and you wont realize it until there is a puddle in your floor. Durability Weve had ours for about two years and it seems to be durable. Nothing has broken that I have seen and everything is working to same as it did when we bought it, with the exception of the freezer icing over. Design The design on the inside could have been a lot better for being a slimmer fridge. The shelving could have been a lot different and a lot more user friendly. Not recommended for a larger family that needs a lot of space.

Durability Within two years of ownership, not at all pleased with the amount of breakdown. All drawers have broken at the joints, and many plastic areas are cracked. Design design is nice, that is why I chose it.

Great refrigerator and very worth the price. The silver look has definitely complemented my other kitchen appliances. It makes my kitchen looks so clean and organized. The silver finishing can be easily cleaned and magnets still wonderfully to it. It has a sufficient amount of shelves and drawers inside it. Also the shelves on the doors are very durable and contain a sufficient amount of room making it easy to store many bottles and jars and condiments on them. I love it how the refrigerator section is on top and how the spacious freezer section is on the bottom. That alone saves so much energy. The freezer is surprisingly deep and spacious. A lot of storage space available, especially for a large family. The freezer door pulls out smoothly. When the upper refrigerator section doors are left open for a minute or two, an alarm will sound reminding me to shut the doors. Temperature settings easy to read and change. Very helpful! Love this appliance. No regrets!

Excellent for families with small children. Keeps items easily sorted and viewable. Noise Level The ice maker occasionally makes noise dumping ice, but most refrigerators do, and it isn't noisier than expected. Interior Organization Most of the shelves can not only be moved, but can be detached from each other on each side and also slide out for easy reach of items in the back of the fridge. Temperature Control Nothing gets frozen when sitting in the wrong spot, and the air flow keeps all food items the same temperature. Ease of Cleaning Glass shelves are easy to pull out and clean. The outside, unfortunately looks dirty quickly, but isn't very hard to clean. Durability Have only had this fridge for a few months, but it has seen a lot of use from big family events and puts up with it well! Design LOVE the French doors, and especially having the freezer on the bottom as a drawer - too heavy for small children to pull open, and it means the French doors are too high for them to reach too!

This refrigerator is overall the best one I have ever owned. I would recommend this one to anybody. It is very quiet, the temperature is always the right temp., and there is always ice made in the freezer below the refrigerator. I clean mine once a month and it only takes about 20 minutes to clean the entire refrigerator. So easy to pop the drawers out and the shelves. We have had to move ours a couple of times and it still works great and is very durable. The freezer part of the refrigerator is so handy and everything I store in the freezer remains tasty and fresh. The freezer has a lot more room than you would think. If I ever have to get a new refrigerator I will get the exact same brand and style.

I am rating this refrigerator as satisfactory but I feel that the design of the fridge part is wonderful. Very roomy and so easy to fit even the largest or widest of items. I am however disappointed with the freezer aspect. First, the icemaker makes fewer ice cubes at a time than most freezers and every time you open the freezer, you are basically bringing most of the contents out into room temperature air. We've had ice develop on the door slide and other issues with the freezer compartment. For me, this fridge has a bit of a split personality. Wonderful on the top and adequate (sometimes just barely) on the bottom. Ease of Cleaning It is very difficult to clean the inside of the freezer behind the slide out drawer. Design Love the fresh food part, not pleased with the freezer.
