LG doesn't stand behind its products
The plastic around the front opener of our 9-year old LG dishwasher cracked. We told their customer service people - several of them - that a non-moving part like this shouldn't fail ever. LG said this was normal in an older machine, would not pay for a replacement part, would not provide a discount on a new machine. Nothing. After a ridiculous amount of back-and-forth on LG's ridiculously cumbersome time consuming customer service website, LG finally agreed to escalate our complaint. The new senior person who promised us further attention never got back to us and ignored several email requests for a decision. I told them I would make my complaint public, so here it is. If the situation changes I'll let you know.
