I HAVE NEVER HAD A BOTTOM FREEZER AND I LOVE IT. THE ICE MAKER IN THE FRIDGE IS PERFECT. IT TAKE'S UP VERY LITTLE SPACE AND I HAVE LOTS OF ROOM IN THE REFRIGERATOR. YOU DO HAVE TO REMEMBER THERE IS A PULL OUT SHELF IN THE FREEZER. IT STAYS IN UNLESS YOU PULL IT OUT MANUALLY.

I love the botttom drawer freezer is is easy to get to and easy to see what you have stored because of the shelves. The inside is easy to clean with the glass shelves. The vegetable storage bin keeps vegetables fresh longer and the meat drawer is a wonderful addition with the tempeture control. I love the ice maker and the water dispenser. It;s always ready and so far has not stopped up. I would recommend this product to anyone who is thinking of gettin a new refrigerator-freezer. It looks good too with it;s 3 door (including the bottom drawer) and is so easy to keep the stainless steel clean.

This Lg bottom freezer refrigerator is a very nice refrigerator for the money. It is quiet, has plenty of room for everything you need to put in there. The glass shelves are ajustable and the shelves on the door can hold gallon containers which really makes it nice. The freezer has so much room for a turkey plus tons of other items. Ours is a smooth white door and very easy to keep clean. If someone holds the door open to long a soft little bell will ring to alert you that it is time to close the door. Also the men who installed it so that the door will gently close by itself, no need to slam it shut! I looked all around at alot of different stores, checking all kinds and sizes of refrigerators and found this to be the very best for the money. The bottom freezer was the one feature that I really wanted to have. Having everything at eye level is so nice and convient, no more forgetting about something in the back of the refrigerator because you could not see it!.

Finally, we treated ourselves to a new fridge. It was a mutual decision to get the freezer on the bottom this time. It is so convenient to have the more used protion of the every day, many times a day fridge on the top. There is plent of room and the shelves are all movable and the cold cut drawer can be re-positioned wherever you like. The LG brand was new to us and has wonderful reviews. We watch for sales to get the best price. So far we are very happy with it. Our new LG looks so stylish with its slightly rounded doors and beautiful sleek handles, which are easy to grip and firmly mounted for the best leverage to pull the door open. The warranty is also adequate for one year but the seal is warrantied for 7 years. I registerred it onlne and every once in a while I get information from the LG company. My daughter has the LG washer and dryer duo and she was the one that introduced the brand to us and I would deffinitely consider this brand again.

The LG refrigerator has been OK but we had to replace one of the bins inside. LG did mail us the replacement which was nice. Also the digital display over-heated causing the refrigerator to break. They did fix it for free but I lost all the food in the refrigerator because the horrible smell of burning plastic ruined everything.

At just under a year owning the brand new lg 24.7 cu ft bottom freezer french door fridge it crapped out. It froze everything in the freezer. Took almost a month to get someone to replace the defective digital panel. Then, 6 months later the same thing happened. Again lost food, lost money, wasted time waiting for always late inept repairmen. Tried to get money for lost food. It took months even though we had pictures. I will never buy an LG product again. Their products suck and so does their customer service! **If I could I would give this product a 0!!!!!**

A french door fridge gave us so much more space in both the fridge and the freezer. The through the door ice and water dispenser is also a great help and saves us money since we are not constantly opening and closing the refrigerator door to get water. And there is a light on the dispenser that you can keep on, which is helpful when you get up to get a glass of water in the middle of the night. Or you can turn the light off and just have it turn on when you are using the water / ice dispenser. the adjustable shelves help us adjust for the size we need, whether it be a stock pot full of soup or a whole roasted turkey. The freezer is incredibly spacious, we can store more frozen goods than we can imagine with a top freezer. It is like having a seperate freezer entirely. And it even includes a seperate shelf in the freezer for things like ice packs. I was not enthused about getting a french door freezer until I actually started to use this one!
