This is a nice refrigerator that doesn't take up much space.

4

I like this refrigerator. It has a large capacity and doesn't take up much space. It has a lot of different drawers, shelves, and compartments for food storage. I also like that there is a separate temperature control for different drawers and the refrigerator and the freezer. I find this feature quite useful. Noise Level This refrigerator is generally quiet. It occasionally make noise when it's making ice though, so beware. The refrigerator will also beep if you leave any of the doors open. This is nice but, can get annoying if you purposely have the door open for some reason. Interior Organization There are plenty of drawers and shelves. There is room for all of your food to be organized. Temperature Control There are 10 settings for the refrigerator AND freezer. This really came in good use for different foods. Ease of Cleaning Some shelves are removable and every part of the refrigerator is easy to reach. Durability The refrigerator is super durable. I've had mine for years without problem. Design The design looks nice and is super organized.

Beautiful and functional fridge.

I have had this fridge for over two years now. I have never had a problem with it. The stainless steel stays beautiful and I love the functionality of the bottom mount freezer. It is easy to access food items. It is also easy to clean and rearrange the shelves depending on what is in the fridge at various times. I love my fridge and would definitely buy it again!

Deep freezer space, sleek design yet flawed

4

It has a very sleek and polished finished. It works great. Been using it for more than 5 years and still works well and is pretty quiet. However, like all french door fridges the space for refrigeration is limited because of all the hanging shelves on the door. You can't fit too large items in it and can't push it all the way to the back, because the back wall can freeze! The freezer space is deep but then you have to reach for all your things. How can you find you popsicle when it is buried under tons of ice bags and microwaveable foods. Makes my back ache... I would say bad ergonomics on this one. I still keep it around though, because all LG products are very reliable in their function. Even if their designs aren't the smartest.

Good Refrigerator

4

I purchased this LG refrigerator when I remodeled the kitchen. I love the sleek stainless steel look. The top refrigerator portion is roomy and the controls work great. The shelves aren't the easiest to adjust without removing all the food so make sure to double check before filling it up. I also noticed that if you "slam" one of the doors too hard it pops open the other door slightly but not enough to notice that it's ajar. Thankfully it beeps to let you know that it's not fully closed. As for the freezer portion, when I first purchased this fridge, I though I would love the deep freezer portion. Unfortunately, it's my least favorite aspect. It is hard to see what's at the bottom of the freezer. Noise Level very quiet

humungous and efficient

I purchased this refrigerator for the excellent price. It does not have an external ice dispenser which I consider a large plus, since I usually drink water from the tap and the absence of a dispenser allows much more room inside. I love it. The french doors makes it easy to clean and access. The doors open wide for very easy access to everything. I can reach even things at the back. I really like the bottome freezer, especially the drawer which allows me to segregate items that are used frequently. The internal ice cube maker is easy to access. It also consumes very lttile energy for such a large unit and the large freezer permits me to do without a separate freeezer in my smaller new home. I have had other LG items and have been very satisfied. LG is a well respected brand in many fields and I feel certain the refrigerator will be exceptionally good, as well. It also has a good warranty, just in case.

LG LF25770TT 16 months old, been fixed under warranty 8 times

1

Purchased new 9/2009. First problem was low ice production. Company rep replaced a computer board (turned out to be the wrong one). An independent contractor replaced the main computer board. LG sent a company repairman (about 5 times) and two different independent contractors (3 times) within the first year (warranty length). Problems: low ice production, ice plus button not working, intermittant loud noise from lower fan, ice buildup in freezer, loose ground wire caused computer boards to fry. I rfound the loose ground wire while cleaning the rear coils. They finally got the ice production up where it should be and the fan noise is better; but it still has ice buildup and the warranty period is up. The exterior dents extremely easy and when it has to be moved for cleaning the wheels squeek horribly. My parents GE lasted over 25 years without any service. This is a piece of junk (overly complex and hard to work on, no durrability). I read a similar review before buying and thought the customer abused the product. We do not abuse this refrigerator. My wife and I are near retirement age and our teen daughter takes care of her posessions.

Great LG product

We bought this from our local Best buy it was a pretty good priced fridge and I really like it. My only complaint and the reason why I did not give 5 stars is because it dents easily. I have a double oven right beside it and if it is gets opened the same time this does and they knock each other it leaves a dent. My family all knows this now but company sometimes doesnt. But other then that I have been pretty happy with it. Ours is about 2 years old and one of the plastic closing shelves did break as well when the door closed on it but this would probably have happened in any brand. the other thing I do have to tell you is that if you have little ones watch out for finger prints this thing shows them but just post some kids pics and youll never notice.

Purchasing this refrigerator was the biggest mistake I ever made

1

Our LG refrigerator died at 1 1/2 years old, no warning, nothing, just dead.  After speaking with a couple of appliance repair companies they said that LG knew of these existing problems, but opted to not recall them since the problems usually manifested after the warranty expired.  Now that I've had problems with various LG products, I will steer clear them.  And since my network of friends consist mainly of many contractors I'll be sure to warn them of these problems too.  I was also amazed that when I asked LG if I could purchase an extended warrany that they said NO because I could only do this during the initial one year warranty.  LG's business practice to not stand behind their products has truely ruined their credibility in the eyes of my family, friends and business partners.

it was a great buy

When I was shopping for a fridge, it was a toss-up between a Samsung & a LG for my budget.  Checking with some native Koreans since both are products of Korea, many are of the opinion that LG has better rating in technology when comparing refrigerators.  So, bought the fridge at a great price due to a sale promotion.  Then again, it would have been well worth it at its original price.  The titanium finish gave it a stylish sleek look and leaves no fingerprints behind to cleanup after,  which the commercial looking stainless steel has to its disadvantage.  The interior design was well thought and has an open view. It is spacious with more than enough adjustable shelves, even behind the doors.  The ideaof having separate crispers with individual adjustable humidity control is great because I can now separate the fruits from the vegetables without having to rummage into a bigger bin.  The deli drawer is an advantage too, to store away desserts like a whole pie or torte and also accommodating a pizza box.  Bottom drawer freezer provides plenty of room when you buy frozen stuff in bulk from warehouses.  In all, there is certainly no buyer's remorse for me on this purchase.

Really like this fridge

I purchased this LG French Door fridge about 9 months ago and have been extremely happy with it.  I love the way it beeps if the doors are left open too long.  This is a great feature because my kids tend to walk away without shutting the doors completely.  I love having the freeze on the bottom, too especially with the extra top rack for added space.  The ice maker is a plus.
