It doesn't add enough water. It adds water in short spurts. I like to see water and suds. The clothes barely get wet and they still smell when I take them out the washer. Should it continue to do the short spurts of water for less than 30 seconds 5 to 10 times? Not add I g enough water to be seen in the clothes?

I love my front loader washer, it cleans well, spins really well and has many different settings. I use the bulky setting for towels. The silver drum stays clean after every wash. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is sometimes it leaves a musty smell. Water will lay in the rubber seal. I leave door open like a crack so it drys. I would recommend but you need to take clothes out and not leave in overnight because of the musty smell. Otherwise it's a great washer

Graphics on control pannel rub off rendering machine unusable unless user memorizes settings and is precise about location of control knob. Lg considers this a "cosmetic problem" not covered by warranty . Replacement of control panel more expensive than new machine. This is going to dump, useless otherwise. Think twice before purchasing any LG appliance. Iffy after purchase customer service.

have had this machine for about 7 years. The first 2 years were great. Now for the past few years, it will consistently stop working and say IE at least 2 to 3 times during a wash cycle. I have cleaned it out, read the book to fix it, went online, etc. Nothing seems to work. I am going back to the old school top loading machines. This one gives me anxiety with the amount of time I need to get up to press the button for it to start and continue the wash cycle.

I bought this a few years ago for my house. It is not one of the new and trendy washers, and not the most energy efficient, but it fits nicely in a small space. Cleans large loads pretty quickly. The design is very plain and simple. It does not have a modern look to it. It looks like the typical washing machine that you find at the laundromat. This machine is holding up very well after this 2 years. No problems what-so-ever!
