My LG dryer is so quiet that sometimes I forget that I turned it on. I love that it has an automatic cycle with sensors that you can let the dryer determine the length of time to dry or you can set it manually for the number of minutes you desire. It has many different settings and temperatures for the different types of clothes your drying. You can put delicate line dry clothes in the machine and set it without worring about it getting to hot or shrinking your clothes. Just like the LG washer the dryer also has a child safety lock on it so it can not be opened during a cycle and buttons can not accidentally be pushed during the drying cycle. I love that both the washer and the dryer have start and stop buttons as well as pause buttons and they are even coded with the universal symbol for start and pause that we are all used to on our computers and other electronics these days:
