I received the LG Rear-Control Front Loading Wash machine as a Mothers Day present almost 8 years ago and it is still working strong. This wash machine holds an amazing amount of clothes, just make sure not to overfill with clothes or the machine will give an "unbalanced" error and not spin when the spin cycle comes on. For smaller loads of laundry, there is a quick wash was setting, as well as a setting for bedding, a setting for delicates, and other helpful settings. Energy Efficiency This front loading wash machine is a high efficiency machine that uses little water while still getting your clothes clean. Cleaning Time For large loads or to wash bedding (comforter), the total wash time is close to an hour. In that time, you can do other household chores while waiting for the clothes to finish washing. Performance I find the performance of this front loading wash machine to be excellent. In all the years of using my wash machine, I have never had a problem and it works as well now as it did on the day it was installed in my laundry room. Ease of Use This wash machine is very easy to use once you figure out the best settings for your laundry. It also has a delayed wash function so you can set it to begin washing at a later time more convenient for you. Design The design of this front loading wash machine is not fancy but designed more for functionality. Durability I have had this wash machine for close to 8 years and is still going strong after many, many loads of laundry.

LG WM2301HW Front Load Washing Machine is a wonderful washing machine for the large or small family. It can be set for small loads just as well as the large loads and it seems like the more full it is the better is cleans yours clothes due to it load sensing that is has built right into the machine. It is easy to set from cold to hot water as well as a slow spin to a fast spin. When you first get the machine loaded and the soap, softener, and bleach in place in it's dispensers you are ready to set the water temperature, and spin speeds and turn it on. Once it is on it locks the front door so that it can not be opened during it operation and with it's load sensing it will give you the wash time in minutes. Yes it does take longer than the old top load washers but it does a much better job and it much more easy on your clothes which will help them last so much longer. And with the cost of clothes today this feature makes it well worth the extra wash time in which is much more gentle than the top load washers. Energy Efficiency The LG washer is much more efficient than the top load washer even though it takes longer to wash, because there is what I call soak time and it is where the clothes will sit in the soap water and break down the dirt that may be in your clothes. So using my smart meter at home I use I know for a fact that it is a more efficient washer than a top load washer. Cleaning Time The cleaning time is one of the down falls but at the same time it lets your clothes last much longer than a top load washer. My average time for a wash load is about 57 minutes from start to finish washing. But with the dryer being much faster than the older dryers it gives you plenty of time to fold your clothes before the next load is dry. Performance The performance of this washer is great and I think if you had one you would agree with me 100 percent on this. Wonderful clean clothes no matter the load that you put into it and that makes the performance most wonderful. I personally would never go back to the top load washer due to the performance and the wonderful job it does cleaning my clothes. Ease of Use This LG washer is most easy to use and everything is easy to set it is just a matter of pushing a button and you are ready to wash, Just do not lose you hand book just for a fast refresher because it does have many features and many of them that you will want to use. The one thing that you do not want to forget is to use HE detergent for this washer. Durability This LG washer is very well put together and most easy to maintain. It comes with a 10 year motor warranty that I do not think you will ever need because of it's design and how well it is constructed because it is so well put together.

We have a LG front loader washing machine. We love how quiet and water saving we get from it. However we have had numerous problems with it. Within the 2 years we have had it, repairmen after repairmen have been by to fix this so called great washer. The tumbler bearing has been replaced twice, the digital readout has burnt up 3 times, the door seal has been replaced twice, and the main motor bearings for pump out has seized 3 times. Unfortunately we will never buy one again Energy Efficiency Energy efficiency has been great when running properly

This washer is fantastic! It works great. With 2 teens in the house, we have a lot of laundry. As a full time working mom, there are just so many hours in the day, so my favorite feature is the timer. I can fill the washer before work and set it to go off 7 hours later. Then when I get home, the wash is done and it has not been sitting for several hours wet. Same thing when I go to bed. I fill it, set it to go off at 5:30 a.m., then at 6:30 I can transfer everything to the dryer and it doesn't have to sit in the washer. We do lots of towels and heavy stuff like jeans and hoodies. This front loader can take it all and everything comes out clean. Because it is a front loader, it uses less soap so it is also a money saver. Excellent product!

I'm happy to say that this is one of the better washer I've used in my time. It can hold a surprising amount of clothing for a washer of its size. It doesn't take up that much space but its not quite compact.

great brand of washer machine. Energy Efficiency great energy efficiency, helps save on water and electricity. Cleaning Time cleans every item very well, especially with a household filled with kids and do lots of loads a week. Performance awesome Ease of Use very easy too use. Design love the designs they come in. Next one I get will be one with the controls in front easier for shorter people. Durability very durable, Have had mine for ten yrs know and no maintaince needed yet. Still runs great.
