Iconic and great hand creams

4

I love L'Occitane and I think they offer a great range of scents- all the norms from vanilla and lavender not like some places you go nowadays that only offer crazy concoctions like "Moonlight-mango-candy cane- basil." I like the L'Occitane Hand Cream for myself, however, I have very smooth skin and simply mosturize because I wash my hands frequently and when I do a lot of dishes. I feel that a person that has very dry hands will need a more intensive hand therapy cream. Quick Take: soothing, moisturizing, nice scents, great in the gift sets Scent i like the original shea scent

Great! Especially for sensitive skin!

I have incredibly sensitive skin, that also tends to be dry, so finding a good hand cream is a bit of an obsession for me. Most hand creams irritate my hands horribly. A lot of them to the point of causing excema. And a lot of the creams that don't irritate my skin either don't provide lasting moisturizing or are so greasy that they are a pain to use. When I first tried L'Occitane Shea Butter products I was instantly thrilled. They smell nice without being overpowering and they absorb quickly, without leaving behind that sticky, greasy feel of so many other moisturizers. And it works!! my hands are always dry, especially in the winter. I live in New England and I have a busy family who I spend much of my day cleaning up after. I don't usually have time during the day to apply moisturizer....if I did I would probably have to wash my hands three minutes later so I don't bother usually. I keep this moisturizer next to my bed and apply it at night before I go to sleep and it keeps my hands soft, smooth and feeling good all day!!

Very Nice With A Pretty Price

5

I have walked past the L'Occitane store in countless malls hundreds of times. I have ignored the L'Occitance in other beauty stores because I assumed that the high price would not deliver a better quality product. I was wrong. I received L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream as a gift - not a promo. When I had wrung ever last moisturizing molecule out of each tube, I went and bought my own. I really think they are extraordinary. I love a lightly scented hand cream, but you can choose unscented. They absorb quickly and completely. The cream is not greasy and you don't need a lot. My hands can be very dry in the winter, but if I use the Shea Butter Hand Cream a couple of times a day, I don't have the chapping and bleeding that I often experience in the winter. The high price will drive many away, but after you use (and throw away) inferior products you still need a good hand cream and the results justify this product for me.

Very Nice

L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream is a very nice product, as is all of the L'Occitane line. This cream is nice because it comes in a small presentation that is very convenient, to take along with you in your purse. It is very hydrating and a small bit goes a long way, so don't worry about it being a small amount. The hydration lasts for a long time and leaves your hands soft and nourished. I like how it wasn't oily on my hands, but absorbed rapidly and left them looking very nice. It has been great during this dry climate to have along with me. I will look forward to getting a new one when it is gone. Scent The scent is soft and not overpowering as some others. It won't clash with your perfumes or other lotions you use during the day. Absorption It absorbs rapidly and leaves your skin without the oily feeling, but hydrated. Effectiveness Really does hydrate and it lasts a long time. You do not need to be reapplying several times during the day.

must for soft and smooth hands

Touted as Bestseller, this product is really a jewel from L'Occitane. I got it as a gift couple of years back but since then I have used atleast a dozen of these :) I have one in each of my bags, dresser, car...lol.. I mean its really one thing I always carry and it's really that worth it. It keeps my hands soft when the weather conditions are dry and rough. It looks thick but gets absorbed within a span of few minutes. I like the richness of this cream. its lightly scented so its suitable to be used during the day as well as nights. This has natural products like honey, almond, coconut oils, shea but doesnot contain harmful parabens and phthalates. All in all its light yet fully moisturises your hands even in cold season and it really feels luxurious on skin!

Best Hand Cream, hands down

5

I highly recommend trying this product. This hand cream is amazing. Once I purchased it, I was unable to go without it. The hand cream is moisturizing but does not feel heavy unlike other creams that I have tried. This is perfect for new mothers. With all the hand washing, hands can easily become dry and unbearable. The ingredients in this hand cream soothe the skin while creating almost a barrier against dry skin. I recommended this product to a couple friends that have very dry hands from washing their hands often. They have loved it just as much as I have. I keep a travel size in my purse and another one on my nightstand.

Favorite hand cream of all time

This is by far my favorite hand cream. I love L'occitane products because they don't irritate my sensitive skin. My hands get very dry and this cream is very moisturizing. The cream comes in different scents but I prefer the original one, which only has a very light fragrance.

This is my first L'Occitane product and so far I'm not impressed

I've heard great things about L'Occitane products, so I was excited to try my sample of **L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream**, but unfortunately, l did not like this product at all. Scent I am kind of picky about scents, so my opinion may be biased, but I really didn't like the way this smelled and certainly wouldn't want to keep smelling it throughout the day. It smells like a combination of baby powder and perfume. I can't stand perfume, so enough said. Absorption This stuff is quite thick, so I was impressed by how quickly it absorbed into my hands. Unfortunately, it absorbed to well because soon after, I couldn't tell I had applied anything. Effectiveness I'm giving L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream a very poor rating for effectiveness because literally, five minutes after applying it, my hands feel dry again and I have to apply more. Since this product contains 20% shea butter, I had higher expectations. Luckily, this was a sample because I would hate to think I wasted my money on this useless product.

Adore this product!

I always keep a tube of this in my purse. During the holidays it is possible to get a set of 3 for the price of 2 from l'occitane direct. Nicely moisturizing for dry hands. Scent is nice. Can be a bit powdery but doesn't last that long. Keeps hands moisturized without being sticky. Very good for dry skin.

Really good product. I like to buy it the travel size so that i can easily stash it in my handbag to bring around with me. Very creamy and good value for money because it stays on for a good long time. Loccitane has always been a bit pricey though so I try to buy this through discount sites.
