I had been searching for a sulfate-free shampoo that was not as costly as many others and found what I liked in this L'Oreal product. I have used two so far, one with a light chamomile scent and the other with a more herbal rosemary scent. Only a small amount is needed to produce a light lather which cleans well without over-stripping the natural oils and expensive hair color. These types of shampoos cost a bit more than the more common versions which include sodium lauryl sulfate as a main ingredient (that which creates the "bubbles") but as indicated, less is needed, so one tube lasts and lasts. I have no quantitative analysis that my hair color has lasted longer as a result, but it does seem that I can stretch out more time before my next needed color session. Effectiveness Giving it an 8 only because I have never really calculated how much extra time I have between color sessions. Stretching that out was the reason I bought the product in the first place. Scent I like the two scents I have used - a chamomile and a rosemary. Would like to see other scents introduced.

I was given a few bottles of this shampoo. I generally like to alternate my shampoos and try a few different ones. I have been using this one on and off. I think it is ok. My hair feels clean after I use it. I cannot say there is anything special about it. It is just an average shampoo. The good thing is that it is sulfate free if that is something you need or are interested in having. My hair does feel smooth after using this shampoo but I prefer other shampoos over this L'Oreal Everpure. Effectiveness This shampoo is ok and It does it's job. My hair does feel clean after I use it. I cannot say that I really care about sulfate free shampoo at the moment. If you need sulfate fee shampoo then I guess this shampoo would be more useful to you. Scent The smell is ok. I do not think it is anything special. The smell doe not really last in my hair. I do not mind so much because I do not like overpowering scents but I would not mind a hint if a scent to stay.

I love the EverPure shampoos! They work just as well as all the shampoos with the extra chemicals in them and don't cost anymore. I feel much better about using the EverPure shampoos than I do using the ones with more chemicals in them. This is a good more natural choice for those who are trying to stay away from so many chemicals. It has a good scent and cleans great. This is a good shampoo for anyone to use. I have dry color treated hair and it does a good job cleaning my hair. I also use the conditioner which works great as well. Effectiveness This shampoo works great and is a good shampoo for those trying to get away from using so many chemicals. It still has a lot of ingredients in it, but not as bad as some of the other harsher shampoos on the market. Scent I think the scent is very pleasant. It is not too girly so its good for men and women. It does a good job cleaning and makes your hair feel soft and smooth.

I've been in search of a shampoo and conditioner that is sulfate-free and not as expensive as what I'd pay for in the salon. I'm so happy with this line. It smells so good, my hair feels and looks good, and you can usually find a coupon for it. I highly recommend this line of L'Oreal EverPure Smoothing shampoo and conditioner! I've got a thick head of hair (and a lot of it) that tends to gets wavy and puffy and on days I decide to blowdry my hair, I feel like this smoothing shampoo and conditioner helps keep my hair from getting frizzy and gives it a shine and overall smoothness. By far my favorite shampoo and condition that is available from the store without having to pay salon prices. You won't be disappointed.

I have been using L'Oreal Ever Pure Shampoo since it first came out. Keeping my hair clean, managable and full of life is very important to me. When I look at women, I look at their hair. That says alot about that woman. This shampoo will even make you feel good, because it smells good and clean yet smooth and silky. There has never been a shampoo like this in all of my years of using shampoos. This is the one and only that I will use. I don't believe anyone when they say that all shampoos are the same because they are not. If you have color treated hair you definitely want a truely great shampoo. This shampoo makes your hair beautiful, manageable, smooth and silky. You will never have a bad hair day when you use this shampoo. You can depend on L'Oreal Ever Pure Shampoo. It will never let you down. Your hair will look full of life, bouncy, shinney, fizz free and smell fantastic. Once you have used L'Oreal Ever Pure you'll never use another shampoo again.

I just had my hair colored (all over base) and highlighted. I wanted a good shampoo to preserve the color and eliminated a lot of the professional ones for various reasons - most often because they contain sulfates which is hard on hair that hasn't been colored, and even harder on color-treated hair. I stumbled on L'Oreal Everpure Smooth - sulfate free for color-treated hair. WOW! I'd been using salon brands and was hesitant to use something so relatively inexpensive, but I'm glad I gave it a shot! It has a wonderful lather, and leaves my hair clean without feeling stripped. So far so good on the color staying true (dark brown base, golden highlights). And the smell is wonderful! I love rosemary and mint - it also gives a slight cooling feeling on the scalp which is a nice pick-me-up in the morning.  I just wish it came in a larger size - currently I've only seen it in 8.5 ounces. Excellent product, and I would recommend it to anyone.
