A girlfriend and I were out shopping together when we both saw, on the shelf, L'Oreal Power Moisture Rush Hair Mask. Excited, because we both had read about this product in various magazines such as Cosmo, Vogue, and Harpar's Bazaar, we grabbed up a heavy tub each, to read about this infamous conditioner. Both of our eyes hit the price at the same time, we looked at each other, we knew it was a no go. Sad that we could not afford such a luxury, we came up with the idea to split the cost down the middle. Effectiveness We read the ingredients and the instructions until we practically wore the words off the jar. One of the suggestions was to apply a thick coating to the ends of your hair before bed, wrap your hair in a bun to sleep, then wash and condition your hair in the morning. Like kids with new found play-dough, we blobbed one another's hair that night. Scent Of course, the first thing we noticed when we took the lid of the jar, was the wonderful aroma of the miraculous conditioner. I say aroma, because scent is just too plain a word to describe clean, refreshing way this conditioner smelled. We slept all night with out hair processing in our buns. The next morning, we took our hair down and it smelled just as fresh as it did when we had put it up. Neither of us could believe the difference in the texture of our hair that day. I, myself, felt that my hair was thicker and had more volume, plus that wonderful aroma did not leave all day. L'Oreal Power Moisture Rush Hair Mask is everything any article says it is, even if it does cost more, it is worth it.

I give this "L'Oreal power moisture rush hair mask" a rating of 9. The ONLY thing I did not care for was the container this came in, I wish they would of made a better packing for easier use (a bottle with a pump would of been great) The conditioning mask itself works really well. I use it about once or twice a week during the winter months for that extra moisturizer. I love the way my hair looks and feels after using this product, it feels VERY soft and smooth. It also adds that extra shine, you normally don't see during the winter unless you dye your hair every couple weeks! I recommend this hair mask to anyone who hair dry and brittle hair, you will seriously love this stuff!! Effectiveness I found this hair mask to be effective for the simple fact that it does what it says, it adds that extra hydration and moisture that your hair craves. It adds a nice glossy shine, without weighing your hair down making it flat. Scent It has a very nice clean and almost sweet fruity scent. The scent lasts and makes your hair smell wonderful all day long.

I use this product on a weekly basis to deeply moisturize my curly and frizzy hair. I have very dry and damaged hair, so I make deep conditioning a ritual that keeps my hair in check. This product does add back moisture to my hair without weighing it down, but I wish this product was a tad bit richer so my hair wouldn't have any frizz or dryness, but all in all, this is an alright deep conditioning product that is moderately moisturizing. Effectiveness I like to use this product at the end of the week so I can add back a lot of moisture. This product doesn't make my hair glossy or shiny like I'd like it too, but it adds just enough moisture to turn my straw hair looking somewhat healthy, which is pretty impressive to me. The only thing I wish was different was I wish the formula was thicker. Scent This has a sweet sent that reminds me vaguely of sweet tarts and some other kind of fruity candy. It has a pleasant, semi-strong fragrance.

L'Oreal Power Moisture Rush Mask is part of the new line of L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare. There is a shampoo/conditioner/treatment combo (sold separately of course) for five different hair care needs. This one is part of the Power Moisture set for dry hair. As a moisture mask treatment I don't really care for it. It is thinner than what I would expect and does not seem to give better results than a regular moisturizing conditioner. I was disappointed and expected more from it. However, I don't know why I did it but I took about a quarter sized amount and ran it through the bottom half of my hair after towel drying and left it in. I have long, thick, naturally curly hair that tends to be dry and frizzy. It really helped with the frizz and didn't weigh it down. Two days later and it still has softness and shine with less frizz. So instead of using it as it was intended, I will use it as a leave-in conditioner. I like the smell of it too. Effectiveness It works better as a leave-in conditioner. Scent I like the scent, it's light and refreshing.
