I had done a lot of searching in the store before purchasing the L'Oreal Revitalift eye cream. Even though this particular eye cream seemed to be the best bang for my buck, it also seemed like a small jar still. When I got home and opened the jar I realized how little eye cream I actually needed to use at one time so there really is quite enough in this little jar. The cream itself is a white, rich and creamy consistency. It only takes a tiny amount for each eye and definitely is not greasy feeling. It leaves my skin firmer, less puffy and dark, and much smoother. I am only 31 so I am not too concerned yet with wrinkles but I do feel that with using this cream it will surely help to prevent any wrinkles in my future. Absorption The eye cream does seem to 'sit' on top of the skin for a short while after applying but eventually it does absorb into the skin. After the cream is absorbed though, the skin around my eyes (including my eyelids) felt soft and silky smooth. Doesn't Clog Pores Clogged pores doesn't pertain to this product. Being that this cream is meant for applying only around the eye area there is no need to worry about pore clogging with this product. Effectiveness I have only been using this product for under a month but after just a few uses I had already noticed that the darkness under my eyes had diminished. Also the puffiness had went down and my skin was softer/smoother than before I began using this product.

I have only used one other eye cream product but I would say the L'Oreal eye cream wasn't as greasy feeling as the other one I used. I am not usually one who wears a lot of make up or uses multiple creams but last year I started to notice my crows feet. In the beginning I didn't use it regularly like you are supposed to and therefore I saw no difference. Once I got it into my nightly routine I did finally start to notice that my eye lines were not as noticeable and the black circles under my eyes diminished some. I would have liked to seen more of the dark circles disappear but I continue to use this product to finish it up since I bought several on sale. It is not greasy and I do think it feels good under my eyes but I think I will try another product when this is finished. Absorption It is slightly slow to absorb but I suspect most products of this type are. It is NOT greasy though which I like. Doesn't Clog Pores Since it is around the eye area I don't really think clogged pores are an issue. Effectiveness Seemed to help my crows feet go away some but would like it to work more on my dark circles.
