This is one of my favorite LUSH shower gels. I love citrus smells and this is LOADED with citrus in it which makes it perfect for a "wake me up" shower in the morning. The gel is also gentle on skin so I don't walk out of the shower with my skin feeling "stripped" yet it does leave me feeling clean. The smell is not overpowering either and it does not "stick" to my skin (which could be a pro or a con depending on what you are looking for) but this way I can still wear a perfume without layering over the shower gel scent and going overboard. It is a clear, slightly cloudy gel and has one of the thicker consistencies in the LUSH shower gel line. I find that it lathers ok. I have applied it with a loofah and by hand and both ways work fine (although with a loofah you save more product). The small size bottle is good for traveling, although a little bulky. If you purchase a larger sized bottle of this and keep the smaller travel size you can just refill it as you go.

Lush's **Happy Hippy **shower gel is one of my favorites in terms of scent, even though I only have the smallest bottle sitting in my shower right now. Many of Lush's shower gels don't set well with my nose for some reason. I often pick up a mechanical smell that reminds me of....well, a car engine? This one, however, gives me a straight-up citrus scent. Additionally, some of Lush's products are very strange texture-wise. Some are intensely thick, and others are almost annoyingly watery. **Happy Hippy **finds the perfect balance. Thick enough to truly be a "gel," but not too thick, so it's not difficult to dispense and use.  Lush has a lot of citrus scents, and many of them have different nuances. For example, some veer toward lemon, others have an orange undertone, a few have lime, some lemongrass, and like Happy Hippy, some are grapefruit.  I like Happy Hippy, because it balances the tart citrus with a sweet undertone. I find that it is moisturizing, it wakes up my senses, and yes, it leaves me happy. The only drawback is that the scent does not linger with you after you get out of the shower. In some sense, this might be good if you're planning on applying lotions or perfumes for your day, but sometimes, I just wish I could take the Happy Hippy scent with me beyond my shower curtain.
