Effective acne treatment recommended by dermatologists

4

I started using this product in combination with a facewash and sudocrem in an attempt to try and improve the visible appearance of acne on my face. As the title suggests, this product does serve a dual purpose - and it does it very well! I use this after washing my face every evening to soak in overnight, and then use it as a primer under my makeup every morning. It feels very nice when applied, although doesn't feel as smooth as usual primers. Despite this, it doesn't make my face dry and I don't have dry skin or patches when I apply my foundation. It appears to be working very well so far considering I haven't been using it for too long, and I'm glad I don't have to worry about my makeup having a detrimental effect on my acne with this product underneath. La Roche Posay is a very effective brand recommended by all top European dermatologists, but unfortunately this does mean that the product comes with a larger price tag than I would usually spend on acne products. From the effectiveness so far, I would say the price tag is worth it for me, and it's worth a try for anyone struggling with acne.

works well at first

I have been using the **La Roche Posay Acne Effaclar K Acne Treatment Fluid 1oz / 30ml **for a few weeks now, and I have to say that it is a pretty good product even if it is fairly expensive. When I first got it, I was desperate to find a product that could help me with the acne and general redness on my forehead. After just a day or two of using it on my face, I noticed a dramatic difference. My acne cleared up and my skin was more even and less red. However, a few weeks in, I got another one or two pimples on my forehead. The La Roche Posay Effarclar K acne treatment fluid helped, but it did not seem to be working its magic anymore. I still use it, though, because I definitely think it has helped in getting rid of acne and keeping my forehead clear. I don't think it's a miracle gel, but, then again, I doubt any products out there are. I would suggest sticking with it and adding it your face care regimen.

Not for sensitive skin.

I broke out really badly after getting pregnant with my second son. I always break out when I get pregnant and while nursing. The doctor told me this was the hardest to clear up, because it's really hormonal, not just because of dirt. I fell into a horrible spiral of overwashing, overtreating, and overdrying my skin. I really did it with this line. I finally stepped up and tried to spend my way out of it, and if it would have worked, i  would have been happy. There was absolutely no improvement using this in conjuction with the wash and moisturizer. I finally gave up, and am now using body shop tea tree and acne free spot treatment. Also Clinique moisture surge is great for sensitive skin. After using this product my face got instantly hot and irritated, sometimes for hours at a time. It was more inflamed than anything. I am not overly sensitive but am naturally dry. I would only use this if your are not.

Roche Posay La Posay is easy to use.

Roche Posay La Posay Acne Effaclar K Acne Treatment Fluid is efficient and easy to use. When one has acne, the stresses of using several treatments which take all night or all morning are common, which is why this product comes in handy for people who want a quick and easy process of treating their face. Not only is it quick but it also works. It helps with problem zits as well as helps exfoliate and treat oily skin that can cause further acne. The product is easy to use and doesn't take long to apply as well as the face that it's portable and won't take up much room. This product is excellent for those in a hurry and wanting to treat their face but don't have the time. It's easy to pack and there are no complex instructions nor is there a long list of conditions in which is should be used. Although the name may be long, the results aren't. And overall this is a very good option for those having trouble with their skin and need a quick fix.

I'm in love with Effaclar K

I have suffered from acne since I was 9 years old - pimples, dark discolorations and the occasional pock mark. Yes, adolescence was just great! Anyway, as a result of my skin issues, my dermatologist and aesthetician are very important persons in my life. They've been wonderful about recommending products and procedures to control my flareups.  A couple of months ago, my aesthetician recommended Effaclar K. It is a very light cream (not greasy at all) that I combine with sunblock and then apply to my skin each morning. It contains salicylic acid (for treatment of the acne) and LHA (for exfoliation). It has a very faint, pleasant smell. Anyway, it is like a very very gentle skin peel. My pimples are fewer in number, my dark marks have faded and my skin tone is more even. I still use my prescription acne medications of course but I definitely noticed an improvement when I started to use Effaclar K. I recommend this product but beware - I plan to hoard boxes of this stuff!
