I use this brand for my face over others I have tried. One of the main reasons aside of it working great is i do not get a reaction to it as I have with many other products. It makes a huge difference to me that i do not have to continuously look for new products that may or may not work. Absorption Goes on very light, and it does not take much to cover the whole face and neck. I use this under another Lancome product. It is quick to dry and you do not have to use a lot of the product. It leaves my skin feeling silky soft. Doesn't Clog Pores I have not noticed any difference in my pores, except they are smaller in the mirror.It washes off hands easily. Effectiveness If you expect to see instant results than this is not for you, I have used it continuously for the past year and started to notice results after four weeks of use. Now my skin looks softer, younger and my wrinkles do not seem as noticeable. I use several of the Lancome line including there make-up.

Lancome Genifique Youth Activating Cream Serum is a very expensive product for the small amount that you get in the bottle. I purchased it based on the recommendation of a local aesthetician. She recommended this product because she said it would rehydrate my skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I decided to make the investment. The results were average and not too noticeable. I could still see the fine lines and wrinkles after a couple of months of use and really didn't notice much of a difference in the appearance or texture of my skin. Once this product ran out, I did not invest in it again due to the high per ounce cost of the cream serum. I did not this the results were drastic enough to justify spending the money to replenish my supply. While this product may work for some people, it did not work for me. It did not hurt my skin but it did not do much to improve it.

I really enjoy this serum. A little goes a long way. I have noticed a huge difference in my skin tone and texture. I am extremely happy with the serum and love the ease of the dropper. No spills here! It absorbs greatly into your skin and doesn't leave it feeling greasy.

I am 37 years old and this was the first serum I ever tried. I got a bottle of it when Lancôme first introduced, several years ago. First of all, I was totally impressed by the gorgeous black glass bottle and the glass dropper to apply the serum. Very fancy! The first time I applied Genefique, I thought my skin felt great. This was my first time using a serum, as I said, so I was really unsure what to expect from one. I never liked facial moisturizers because I felt like they clog up my pores and I just don't like feeling "stuff" sitting on my skin.. I wasn't sure how i'd like a serum, but I fell in love with it pretty quickly. After that first use, my skin felt so soft and smooth. After using it for a few days, I was almost amazed at my skin. It actually DID look youthful and it was as soft as a baby's bottom! My skin has never been that smooth and soft. I also noticed that some fine lines I had seemed to be barely even noticeable. Once you apply the serum, it absorbs into the skin and you do not feel any residue at all. It doesn't feel like there is any product on your skin. Your skin just feels and looks amazing. This IS an expensive product, but I feel like it is worth it for the results. I have tried other serums now since the Genefique, but I did not like any of them as much as I do this one. I really like the Genefique eye serum as well, but that does have a tendency to pill some when you apply eye makeup. This facial serum though is awesome and I do not have one bad thing to say about it. Absorption Totally absorbs into skin. No residue left behind. No stickiness or tackiness. The Lancome Genifique Youth Activating Cream Serum is a great product to add to your skincare routine. It is product you can use during the day and night routine. I have received a couple of these as sample from Lancome when I make a purchase online. They are really great for your skin. I usually use it at night after cleansing and toning and then follow it with an eye treatment and a moisturizer. It helps your skin have an overall healthy, even look and helps to diminish wrinkles. It is a very light serum and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy, heavy feeling afterward. It is great for oily, normal or dry skin, without causing adverse reactions. I would suggest it for ages 30 and up when you start to worry about preventing wrinkles. Absorption Absorbs quickly and leaves a fresh feeling. Doesn't Clog Pores I have oily skin and I have not had the problem of it clogging my pores. Effectiveness Perfect for all skin types.

The salesperson recommended this for me because I told her my main problem is that my skin is getting creped. She said we guarantee results with this, it is truly a breakthrough. Well, it did soften my skin, it did plump up fine lines, but it did not produce any miracles and when it is not on my skin I still have crepe. It is quite expensive and not worth paying the high price for. Glad I got the "gift with purchase" products so at least I could try and justify some of the cost.

Lancome Genifique Youth Activating Cream Serum is a luxurious serum. Once applied the serum absorbs quickly on your skin. My complexion felt soft and silky upon initial application. After a few days I noticed a difference. This serum is pricey but a bottle will last several months depending on the amount and the frequency of use. Absorption Once applied to your skin the product absorbs quickly. You can apply the rest of your beauty products without any sticky or tacky feeling. Face looks lifted and tight. Doesn't Clog Pores Since using this product I have not had any issues with breakouts or clogged pores. I cleanse and exfoliate to keep my skin free from impurities so I think this helps to keep my pores clean. This serum compliments my beauty regimine. I bought Lancome Genifique cautiously hoping that it would deliver on the promices it made about noticably improving the appearance of fine lines and make my skin smoother and more radiant. I felt I had nothing to lose if it did not work because the store where I bought it has an excellent refund policy. So I went ahead and gave it a shot. All I accomplished was cultivating a lovely crop of pimples. Now I feel pretty! The salesperson claimed that I would notice an improvement in one week. I noticed nothing good, the fine lines looking exactly the same. At least it didn't burn my reactive skin, that would have been really messed up if I got a chemichal burn in addition to breakouts. The information packet she gave me told me nothing useful about the details about how Genifique works. The only information I got was a bunch of numbers thrown in my face about how 89% of women who used it blah blah blah. Who cares I am definitly not in that percentile. Save your money. I haven't tried it but I have heard many good things about Avon's equilivant of Genifique. Sorry, I don't remember the what it's called, only that it has a similiar name. I'm sure if you ask somebody who sales Avon they will know what I'm talking about. It's about half the price and many people who have tried Genifique and were disgusted were pleased with Avon's equilivant to it. Absorption It left an odd not quite sticky filmy feeling on my face. Doesn't Clog Pores One week later I had these weird hard red pimples all over my face. Effectiveness They promise results in a week. Too bad they weren't promising breakouts that would take longer than usual to heal.
