Since the day I started wearing makeup, I have always used Lancome mascara (my mom has worked for L'Oréal for 20+ years). I have used every single one they have ever made but this one...... my absolute favorite of them all! It adds volume and lengthens my lashes so much that I get so many compliments on my eyelashes which has never really happened before. I have not one complaint about this mascara!

I have been using this mascara for awhile now.  I have tried other brands, different varities from the Lancome line, and I keep coming back to this one.  This mascara is just amazing.  My eyelashes are medium in length, almost blonde and grow straight out.  This mascara really helps to thicken and lengthen my lashes.  I first curl my eye lashes, then I apply my mascara.  The mascara visibly lengthens the lash. I usually go back for a second go around.  They just get thicker and longer with each additional application.  I use this mascara when I put on my full face.  I also use it when I am just going to be barefaced for the weekend.  It just brings out my eyes, I love it.  I also find it easy to remove.  Most of the time I buy the waterproof mascara. As I am a very active mom, I never know when I am going to get pelted with a water balloon or get really sweaty in one of our Texas summers.  Another item that compliments the mascara is the mascara remover by Lancome.  It is gentle, but removes all of the mascara.

I have virtually no lashes. my husbands lashes are longer than mine. I have tried allot of mascara and this one has been the best. As long as you are applying it correctly you should have "long" results.

one of the best mascaras i have ever used!  It made my lashes very long!  no clumping or flaking!  It is a little expensive but I like it better than dior show.  Dior show tended to clump and made my lashes look like spiders!  I love lancomes mascaras, they are the best!

Lancome generally makes great mascara and this one is good but doesn't live up to those lofty claims. This mascara is really exactly like *Flextencils* (see review) which I use and like very much. But I wanted something DIFFERENT, not the same mascara in a curvy tube.This mascara doesn't clump or flake. It eases on fine and does lengthen my lashes. It doesn't curl or add volume though. Two applications make my lashes look longer and darker. They feel a bit harder (or crispy as I call it) but not too heavy or annoying. The mascara doesn't run at all nor does it flake throughout the day and leave little specks on my face. It's very good. But it doesn't lengthen as much as it claims to. However, I still like it and will use it. But when I am done with this tube, I will go back to Flextencils. They're so similar and Flextencils actually may lengthen my lashes a bit more! Still, mascara that doesn't clump, run, flake, fade, or make my lashes look like unilashes (smashing my lashes together) is good stuff. I just wish Lancome would chill with the big claims.***My Viewpoint*****Lancome L' Extreme Mascara** is good mascara for all the reasons I said above. But it doesn't lengthen lashes by 60% as Lancome claims. Still, it's better than many mascaras I have tried and I am not going to downrate it for stretching their claims about being able to stretch my lashes. I always wear mascara when I go places, and Lancome is my brand of choice when it comes to make-up in general.  However, the one thing I don't use from them is there mascara.  This particular one I find difficult to handle.  I don't like the curve of the applicator.  Instead of making it easier to use I find it more difficult.  I also think their mascara is not as good as the drug store brands for making lashes look fuller and longer.  Sorry Lancome but in this catagory you lose out!

I have always used Lancome mascaras with fantastic results. I use waterproof because it gets so hot in our region, that mascara will "melt" off the eyelashes. I am on my third tube of this particular mascara. This formula seems to be the biggest producer for the company as far as big bold lashes goes. This stuff will indeed give you dark, thick, glamourous lashes. It makes your natural lashes look much longer than they might be and it is easy to pose or manipulate your eyelashes once the product is applied. My biggest complaint is the lash brush. The tip that you hold to apply the product is really thin. I do prefer a thinner handle over those that are the size of hair brush handles, but it can be difficult to keep this in your grip. The brush is also very harsh on your lids. No matter how gently you try to apply this product, you always hit the skin and this brush hurts! For me, the results outweight the pain but I know others probably would not feel the same way. Also, if you are trying to stay on a budget, you can find much cheaper mascaras at the supermarket or super stores that work almost as well.

This mascara is like the MAC Plush Lash on steroids! Full disclosure: I am a bonafide Lancome fangirl. They are almost holy in my eyes so there is very little they do wrong in my opinion. L'Extreme is a fantastic heiress to Lancome's reputation of luxury mascaras. I loved how my lashes were defined and lengthened, which is fairly significant as my lashes are rather long to begin with. Anyway, L'Extreme is also easy to layer but as always with caution. A lot of women try to layer and they don't do it correctly and so end up with clumpy lashes. I've never had that problem with L'Extreme.

I love all Lancome mascara!  I have sampled so many brands of mascara but always come back to Lancome L'Extreme waterproof mascara in black.  It doesn't move, doesn't clumb and makes me feel like a million bucks!

This is the only mascara I wear.  I love it.  It's long lasting, doesn't flake.  And the best part is they use a plastic or hard rubber applicator rather than those prickly straw like bristols that always clump up.I have tried almost every brand of mascara but this is by far the best.
