If I had not been looking for a stronger peel, this would have been a lovely product. It tends to be fairly mild and gentle with the skin. I have fairly large pores and some blemishes that I was looking to treat. I left this product on longer than the instructions initially advise, but it really didn't have that dramatic effect that I was hoping for. It did give me softer smoother skin and I think with repeated use it will give me the results I am looking for. I'm not sure about its wrinkle erasing properties because I am 28 and I don't currently have those issues but if I had to guess, it would be better suited for this purpose than for the use I had intended it for. For quality of product I could give it a 5 stars because of the ingrediants but for range of use it will have to stay at a 3-4 stars. to amp up my peeling power I have used a callus removing/softening gel and that has worked much better. I didn't pay very much for this product myself and i don't think it would be worth the regular retail cost.

Frankly, this is not a product I would buy.  I have a bad attitude about the high end department store cosmetic lines. Overpriced. Manipulative. Preying on our insecurities. Etcetera. BUT, I got a free sample of this stuff. And I'm of the age when everything is starting to sag and wrinkle.  So, as long as it isn't costing me anything and isn't going to cause an allergic reaction or clog my pores *(...yes, young readers, it is possible to have wrinkles and acne at the same time... sigh.)* I had nothing to lose by trying this product.  And, y'know, I think it might be working. It's a two step process.  One dabs Renergie Microlift R.A.R.E. Lifter Intense Targeted Repositioning Lifter (oh brother!) on the targeted areas of the face, then follows with the Renergie Microlift R.A.R.E. Superior Lifting Cream.  The latter serves as your moisturizer under your foundation makeup. I don't know what it does or how it works, but I do think my face looks a little less, well, droopy when I apply this stuff.  It boosts my confidence as well.  And the act of applying it is delightful because the cream smells and feels so good going on. I probably still won't break down and spend a lot of money on it. But I'll be on the look out for the next time Lancome offers it as a sample!

 This product can be used on you eyes, neck and whole face. My bottle is only about .5 ounces but it has lasted a good while. I do not use it every day, though, I can be used daily. For this lifting cream you are paying mainly for quality but I believe it is worth it. I like this product because it also moisturizes as well as firms. It does not take any time at all for it to take effect. There is no tint to it but it works well if you put on before you put on the rest of you make up.  I only have one complaint, but it may not bother other people. If I sweat while this is on it starts to feel gooey even after it has dried. Other than that it is a great choice in firming creams and I highly recommend it if that does not bother you. As is usual with most of Lancome products this cream comes with a somewhat strong scent. Or at least it seems a little strong to me because I do not really like the smell.

I am writing this review on behalf of my grandmother, who, does not use a computer.  I purchased Renergie Microlift RARE for her for mother's day, and she has been raving about this product ever since. She is in her late 70s and just started to develop wrinkles. She has stated that the wrinkles are less pronounced and her skin is soft and perfectly hydrated. She also loves the smell!  A pea size amount should do the trick for both your face and neck. This cream is for normal to dry skin-types.

This Lancome product is not what I thought it would be.  First, the product does not stay on your face well.  If combined with other products, such as serum, or makeup, the result is that it does not soak in to the skin, but cakes up on the skin and rubs off.  If all you use is that product line, it still happens.  One product is okay but combinations just become heavy and kind of like wax and then they will rub off easily.  This is especially true at night when you rub product off on your pillow.  My complaints to the Lancom counter where I bought the products was met with excuses like I need to exfoliate routinely or that will happen with any product.  I wonder if the products I purchased were old when I got them, and therefor would not work properly.  I love Lancome products but their skin care with spf does not seem to be the best.  Their sunscreen by itself works well-just not the antiaging products with spf.
