This heater works very effectively and efficiently. I was completely surprised by how well and what a large area of space it heats up. We keep it in the garage, where people sometime sleep, and it works great. It definitely keeps people warm enough and is great because it can be programmed to turn off after a certain amount of time. This allows for no excess energy to be used, when people are sleeping or if you forget to turn it off, but it will keep you warm enough. Performance Heats up a large space in a very effective and efficient manner. Ease of Use It is very easy to move around and set up. Durability There have been no accidents to really tell how durable it is, but it seems very sturdy. Design It is designed to work effectively, but I would like it to be a little higher off the ground. Safety Very safe so far.

we have 2 lasko ceramic heating units now. our home we bought had baseboards & a monitor oil heater. we got rid of the oil heating unit and kept some baseboards however in a couple rooms we did not like how the baseboard took the whole wall up of valuable usable space. My husband decided to take the one off in our room and the living room and get a space heater. at the time there were not so many options in space heaters to buy so he chose the lasko ceramin heater ... to our surprise and especially for the price we really like it. it works great! it automatically comes on when it goes below the set temperature, it has an on/off button, high/low etc. its a dry heat and when its real cold i find we need to use a humidifier too but i dont know that it would not be the case with any type of heat being heat pump, baseboard,etc.. just dry out.  our heating bill has been reduced since we have begun to use them too, efficient
