I recently applied for the Loews credit card when we were redoing the floors in our home. We decided upon hardwood floors for three rooms and while we were in Loews, I noticed that using their credit card gave you a five percent discount on your purchases every time you use your card. Altough five percent is not a huge amount, it does give you a significant savings on large purchases and saves you a lot of money in the long run. We saved a lot of the flooring that we purchased so it was definitely worth it. the credit card does have a very high interest rate however. If you pay it in full it does not matter as the interest won't affect you but if you pay it over time, try to pay as much as you can as the rate is high. It is a good card to have for home repairs as sometimes you need to do repairs to your home that are very expensive and it is a lot easier to pay for that overtime in smaller payments. I like the card but try to pay it off as fast as I can because if you don't you really are not saving five percent. Great for home repairs !

I use my Lowe's Visa card all of the time. I purchased an older home and I am doing a lot of improvements. I was going to the Lowe's store a couple of times a week when one of the cashiers suggested that I apply. I have found that the fees are a little expensive if you don't pay it off each month but the card is really convenient. I like that I can use it at anytime with absolutely no hassle. I have used the card to purchase items as well as rent small equipment. Being a cardholder, I am always receiving great discounts and other offers through the mail. I have only had one problem with the card and it was resolved quickly. The customer service reps are great and always very friendly and ready to help. I like that I can either send in my payment or simply drop it off at my local Lowe's store. The Lowe's Visa card has been a great card for myself and I would like to recommend it to anyone who shop Lowe's regularly.

Find yourself having to return items long after you start a home improvement? With the Lowe's card tracking your purchases, everyday discounts and returns are easy. There are lots of reasons to like the Lowe's card but only if you plan on shopping there often. Pros: Card gives you 5% off everything (even sale items) both in store and on-line. Offers special discounts to customers who sign up via email. Card makes it easy for them to track purchases so you can return items bought even awhile ago without a receipt for the full price you paid. Promotional items with deferred interest and/or payments are easily marked on the statement. Warranty items are easy to track. I always get the Lowe's extended warranty on large items as it's less expensive than from the mfg. Accepts on-line and in-store payments Cons: Customer Service in the store is okay (depends on the clerk and manager) but on the phone it's hit or miss, not sure if their call center is in the US or outsourced. I had a good experience with Customer Service on a dishwasher warranty. Rate is terrible 18%-21% depending on credit score. Excessive late and transfer fees apply. Must be diligent on promo items to pay off on time. Small billing cycle.

I love my Lowe's Visa Card. Let me start by saying this card has a ridiculously high interest rate even for someone with top of the tier credit. What this card does have going for it, is the fact that I can use it to purchase large appliances or home improvement items at varying times of the year for 18 months interest free. I have used my Lowe's card to purchase all of my appliances and never paid a penny of interest. I only use the Lowe's Visa at Lowe's because the regular purchase interest rate is usually around an outrageous 22%. The card is easy to use and my account stays open with no fees when not in use. I can also pay my Lowe's Visa card bill conveniently online. I would only recommend this card for purchases of $300 or more during the interest free savings period. Because the interest rates are so high and it does not seem to matter your credit worthiness, I would not recommend the Lowe's Visa card for daily use or rewards.

The Lowe's Visa Platinum is an excellent store credit card to open if you have a lot of home improvements products to purchase. Lowe's frequently offers 0% financing for one year on purchase of $299 or more. I love that I am able to spread out the payments over a year and the balance remains interest free provided that I pay off the initial purchase before the year is up. Overall, I am very impressed with the Lowe's Visa Platinum website. It is very easy to create an account and is very easy to navigate through the different features on the website. It is also very easy to set up your online payment information and is clear when the monthly payments are due. Overall, I am very impressed with the Lowe's Visa Platinum credit card. The perks make this credit card well worth it and it is a great way to finance home improvement projects. I highly recommend opening this store card and it is a great way to build your credit history.
