Their best products.

I've tried their other products and I have to say that their eye pigments are simply the best of all their products. Such high quality compared to everything else, as well as pigments from other brands. It is rather expensive though and the editions can run out quickly. NYX is a good substitute for the price but nothing can beat MAC. There are so many colors in so many styles like shimmer or matte, it's almost overwhleming. Despite its price though, these things last a long time. I've only needed to apply a little bit in addition to eyeliner or a dab of other eyeshadows. They last even longer on your eyelids. It can also be used on your cheeks or lips. So versatile!

Versatile Multi-Purpose Product!

MAC Pigments are versatile, ultra-fine powders designed especially for professional makeup artists to create unlimited combinations of special effects and colors. Pigment is a highly concentrated loose color powder that contains ingredients to help it adhere to the skin. The shimmer in the pigments is very fine to create a subtle, luminous shine. Pigment is available in matte and frosted finishes and comes in an excellent range of colors.Pigments may be used in any of these ways:• As an eyeshadow for long lasting color and shimmer - wet or dry. Use to create a subtle wash of color or an intense effect. Pigment does not streak or cake, is easy to blend and long-lasting. Can also mix with Mixing Medium to create a creamy pearlescent look. • Under the brow bone or on the cheeks as a highlighter. • Mix with moisturizer to create a shimmery lotion for the body or face. • Blended with face powder for a subtle, luminous look. • Mix with your favorite lip gloss to create a different color. • Dab over lipstick for extra sparkle. • Sprinkle over or mix with nail polish for a glittery finish. · Dust on neck, chest or shoulders as a shimmery body powder. · Use with a fine brush and water for eyeliner. · Mix with other pigments to create your own one-of-a-kind color

An awesome multi-purpose must-have for every makeup junkie

I love MAC's Vanilla Pigment because it is so versative and almost everyone could find a use for it.  You can use it on the eyes as an over-all wash of color, brow highlight, or to highlight the tearduct.  You can add a small amount the the center of your bottom lip (over or under gloss) to give you a more plump look.  You can mix it with your moisturizer for a nice dewy look.  You can apply it to your cheekbones/temples for a facial highlight.  You can apply it with your body moisturizer for a nice summer glow.  I'm sure there are other possibilities as well : )

What a deal for the money

With MAC pigment, a little goes a long way.  Use it sparingly and it could very well be a lifetime supply.  I've purchased 4 different pigment pots and am pleased with all of the colors. They can also be used on the body so not just for eyes.

Highly pigmented and amazing

The MAC pigements are amazing!! i would recommend them to anyone. You can add them to a lipgloss to make a great color lipgloss, you can add it to a clear nailpolish to creat a personalised color.  It comes in many different colors.  Pigment is a highly concentrated loose colour powder that contains ingredients to help it adhere to the skin. Create a subtle wash of colour or an intense effect. Does not streak or cake. Easy to blend and long-lasting. Please note: Pigments are sold by weight not volume. Containers can appear to be less than full due to settling of the product.

Great. Pricey

I love MAC pigments.  Their products are what turned me into somewhat of an eyeshadow junkie.  They have an awesome collection of beautiful colors that provide a wonderful color payout.  The jars are pricey, though, and although they can last a long time, can also easily spill.

great deal if you use it!

I like the idea of the pigment, long lasting deep color for a reasonable price. I got Vanilla because everyone says its the go to color for your eyelid highlighter color (apply right below your brow ridge for definition and enhancement) I have found it is quite cool toned. I like the color, but the loose pigment format does not make it as quick and easy as a solid eyeshadow. Thus I just don't reach for this often. But there are websites that suggest how multi-functional this is, including using it as a cheek highlighter if gently applied to the tops of your cheeks (I've only done this for night time, you don't want to glowing too much at work!) or also used to blend with your clear lip gloss for a light shimmer. I've also read you can combine pigment with your nailpolish to give it extra color or luster. Not sure if this works with every shade. And I've seen people use it as a loose pigment in hair (ie for halloween or just if you want some extra sparkle for a holiday get together) I will not be purchasing more pigments because I dislike the loose powder format, but I will be keeping my Vanilla jar and it will probably last forever.

The only eyeshadow I use.

I was introduced to MAC makeup years ago, and have been hooked ever since. The eye shadows are the best in the business. They are highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. Plus they have a myriad of  other uses. Put it in clear nail polish. The more you mix in the darker the shade. Or mix and create your own colors. Pigments can be used a blush, or mixed in with any spray hair product to give you that extra little sparkle. Lastly mis it with lip gloss. But not much, as I stated earlier, a little goes a long way. I have deep creases, and pigments when used in conjunction with MAC paints, stays on all day. For example, I did my friends makeup at her wedding. The next day she asked me, "what did you put on my eyes?" I asked "MAC pigments. Why?" She said "Because I looked just as good the next morning as I did yesterday."  They may be a little pricy, but how long they last it is worth it. You will easily take years to use up one container. And there is a great many different colors. In the jars they may look the same, but on the eye can look totally different. The colors in MAC pigments layer one upon one. An eye shadow in the jar may look like a plain brown. But on the eye is brown, then green, then blue. It is truly amazing what MAC pigments can do for you.

One of MAC's strongest products.

Fantastic product. So much more useful than the eyeshadows, these products are so perfect and versatile. Can be used for softer looks or you can build the pigment to create bold looks with strong colors. Use as blush, highlight etc. You can mix them with gloss or dab them on top of lipstick. I've even heard of folks mixing them with clear nail polish. A little goes a long way--you'll never run out of them! One of MAC's strongest products, I can't have too many.

I seriously love mac pigments! I love all the colors available, how long they last, ways you can wear them, etc. The only thing is you need a really good base (i use mac painterly) for it to be more vibrant and stick also sometimes it can fall on your face under your eyes. I use them daily.
