I have used other Mary Kay products and actually liked some of them so I decided to give the moisturizer a try! I thought it was a little bit expensive but perhaps it would be worth the money. I was sadly mistaken! I was extremely disappointed in the Moisturizer and would never recommend the product! Absorption This moisturizer does absorb into your skin but the thin consistency of the lotion barely covered my face and neck. I felt like I needed to use a lot of moisturizer each time I applied the product. After applying the moisturizer, my skin did not even feel soft to the touch! Doesn't Clog Pores I used the Mary Kay moisturizer for two weeks and during that time I did not notice any change in the overall appearance of my pores. I can't say that the product clogged my pores but it certainly did not change the size of my pores. Effectiveness The Mary Kay moisturizer is very expensive and I honestly do not feel like it is worth the money! I was very disappointed in the performance of the product in terms of it's ability to moisturize. I have used cheaper moisturizers and they worked equally as well and sometimes better than the Mary Kay product.

I have combination skin, oily in some areas, normal or dry in other areas and I never used a moisturizer, thinking it would make the oily areas look worse. I have combo/oily skin and I always thought that moisturizer would add to the oil appearance, but it actually helps control the oil.  Mary Kay moisturizer is the best on the market and consultants will typically ship to you for free!  It goes on silky smooth and feels very lightweight.  Applying makeup on top of the moisturizer is a breeze and helps it looks flawless!  I would never switch to any other brand.  This moisturizer also fights fine lines and wrinkles.  Keeps you looking young and feeling young too.  You get to try before you buy, which leaves you feeling confident and makes for satisfaction guaranteed.  It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it to look young and beautiful!  Use with the timewise cleanser for even better results to fighting aging.  You can't buy these in a store, so that is a negative, but it's easy to find a consultant online at www.marykay.com.  Type in your zip code and you are good to go!

I have sensitive - combination skin, oily in some areas, normal in other areas. This product is safe for sensitive skin and works to correct oily to dry skin or combination skin. It is very important to me to use a product that's fragrance free and non-comedogenic. Almost everything irritates my skin so I have to be careful about what products that I use because of irritancy. I started using Mary Kay about 18 years ago. Since then the products that I use have been upgrated to Timewise but I still use my same combination of Mary Kay individual products. I just smooth on Mary Kay Balancing Moisturizer formula 2 after I use the Blemish Control Toner before bed and in the mornings. What I like about it is the lightness and how it absorbs into my skin. It makes my face and neck feel velvety soft. The other good quality about this product is, it not only moisturize, it hydrates the skin also and helps the skin to maintain optimum moisture balance.  I will always but this product. It helps slow down the aging process too!
