The only eye make-up I wear is mascara, which can be hard to remove with some make-up removers. I've found that Maybelline Expert Eyes Moisturizing Mascara Remover removes all traces of mascara from my lashes. I just put a few drops on a cotton quilted square and gently rub off the mascara. It comes off quickly; however it does leave a slight oily residue behind. I always have to gently wash with warm water to remove all traces of the mascara-remover, which really isn't a problem. It doesn't sting or irritate my eyes and has never irritated the skin around my eyes. I've also used it when removing lipstick and it works well for that. After a few uses, the squeeze bottle tends to get a little slippery from the liquid occasionally running down it and I have to wash it with hot water. All in all it's a good mascara removal product and I recommend it. Effectiveness Removes all of my mascara. Ease of Use It isn't hard to use but it takes a little longer since I have to wash off the oily residue.

Maybelline is the only eye mascara and eye makeup remover that I can use. I have such sensitive skin that Maybelline has made it simple for me to use. It does not irritate my skin or make the sides of my eyes dry out. I love this product and I will not change my eye makeup. Maybelline always has a variety of choices and I have always loved it. I also like that it does not have a strong odor like most makeup removers that also burn your skin because of the amount of alcohol they put in the product. This is the best! Effectiveness This literally eats away the makeup so it's easy to remove. Unlike soap and water that will just leave little black smudges on and around your eyes and makeup still on your face. This product actually makes the makeup dissolve so it's all gone! I couldn't believe it until I started using it. Ease of Use So simply to use. I literally get a small rag, apply the product and start wiping the makeup away. It really only take a few minutes to use and I can just go right to bed. Leaves no mess leaving a clean face to wake up to.

this product works amazing! manages to get off my waterproof maybelline falsies mascara, which if you have it, you know that its the hardest thing ever. but with this? comes right off! it is sort of oily but it seems that even if they do cause discomfort, they seems to be the only ones that work, sadly :)

Generally ,I am a big fan of Maybelline products . I love their mascara line and have been using it since I was a teenager . I have bought their Maybelline eye makeup remover and that is one Maybelline product I would never recommend . I have a hard time removing waterproof mascara and it started clumping up on my lashes because I was not removing it all with warm water and /or cold cream . I decided to give this a try and regretted it . It was very oily and felt like I had poured baby oil in my eyes . It stings and clouds up your vision because of the film of oil it leaves in your eyes ! It removed the mascara but some of the lashes came out with it and I found it very difficult to use , not at all gentle and not very effective since I only wanted the mascara to come off , not the eyelashes with it . Generally ,I now just use washable mascara because it must be applied more often but is far easier to remove without losing my eyelashes .

This is a very effective product that removes eye makeup pretty thoroughly, although overall effort for removal is easy , it still also depends on the brand of eye makeup and color pigments of the eye shadow , liner , mascara or eyebrow enhancement gels to be removed.Whether or not you used a eye makeup primer and or makeup setting spray is a factor too. You may need more than one or two swipes and more product applied to a second cotton pad. It does well on waterproof mascara as well as the new mascara formulas with liquid extension particles in the mascara formula. This is a product that I use regularly and I keep it on hand as well as one other brand. I have also found that it is very gentle for the delicate skin area around the eye. Effectiveness The effectiveness of this product is great. I say so because it really does a good job. I have used other eye and general makeup removers and in comparison this one is superior. Ease of Use The ease of use is just a tiny bit tricky. I say so because with trial and error I have found that I have to adjust the use depending on the mascara or other eye makeup product to be removed. Sometimes you may need more or less product on your cotton pad as well as sometimes you may need to do it twice to remove all traces of makeup. This product feels semi oily , so be careful not to get it on or rather in your eyeball because it will obstruct your vision for a little while. As well as giving your facial skin an over wash to remove this remover after you've cleaned and dissolved the eye makeup.

Have you ever had to rub your eyelashes so hard during washing your face to remove the heavy duty waterproof mascaras that your eyelashes were literally being pulled out?! I have and it is not a fun experience. This mascara remover works well for the waterproof formulas. I woudn't waste it on the regular ones that you can easily wash off with soap and water. I occasionally wear waterproof mascara and this remover will make it slide ride off with a cotton ball soaked in the solution. You get best results when you allow the drenched cotton ball to stay in contact with your eyelashes for a few minutes (this leaves the remover a few minutes to get absorbed into the mascara and do its work). Afterwards, you can follow with a routine water rinse or use a cleanser to get any excess mascara to wash off cleanly. This formula leaves my eyelid and lower lid very soft but not greasy. The bottle is small but you don't need to use a lot in order for it to work.

I have had a variety of makeup remover over the years and one of the lines that I tried out quite a bit was Maybelline Waterproof and Oil Free Makeup removers. The Mascara remover has the following ingredients: Paraffinum Liquidum/Mineral Oil, Isopropyl Palmitate, Lanolin Oil, Butylparaben. This particular mascara/makeup remover is in a clear plastic bottle with a pink flip top lid. The remover itself is scent free. Performance I am on the fence on how to rate this makeup remover. Although it does remove most of waterproof mascara, it also leaves the eyes SO oily and icky that I really hate to use it. There are so many oils in this, it seems that it might be easier to just get mineral oil and lanolin and put it on your lashes yourself. There is no scent, but I hate the residue of oil it leaves in my eyes for a LONG time. I prefer the blue capped Maybelline makeup remover that is oil free, but it won't work as well on waterproof mascara. I prefer either Yes to Blueberries Cleansing Cloths, or Hard Candy Take It Off- but reasonable priced alternatives. Ease of Application This is easy to use, but leaves oil in the eyes which is totally frustrating to me- especially since I wear contact lenses and don't want this at all. You simply put on a cotton pad and wipe it around the eyes- but make sure the cotton is woven and not loose- or you will end up with a mess in your eyes.

I have used Mabelline's makeup remover for years. It is really quick at taking off any type of mascara. I am 51 YO and a grandmother and I have no crow's feet. I can't say with certainty that this was the reason, but I feel fairly certain it is a contributer. It does leave an oily film around your eyes. I feel it is the oily film that helps keep moisture locked into the eye area. And it is much cheaper than any other product claiming to help prevent fine lines around the eyes. I use it every night. Couldn't do without it.

I don't normally use a mascara remover because I have sensitive skin, and it usually bothers my eyes. Unfortunately getting off waterproof mascara can be a bit of a bear. Especially if you've really loaded the mascara on to get that really smoky look. I picked some of this up at the grocery store recently for just that reason. It works really well. It gets rid of all that gook on my eyelashes, and makes my lashes nice and soft again. There is nothing worse that waking up and feeling these still little spears that used to be my eyelashes. This really removes all that mascara, even the 'super' mascaras that are out nowadays. And, it doesn't leave hideous red circles under my eyes from a reaction to the remover. This stuff is really pretty cheap, and a little bit really goes a LONG way. i don't use it on my regular mascara that isn't waterproof because it's not really needed. So, it lasts a long time!

Maybelline's Expert Eyes Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover is the very best!! I have tried other brands and they just don't compare to Maybelline. The price for starters is a great reasonable price and since you only need a small amount the bottle lasts forever! I love the way it makes the area around my eyes feel so soft after I have used it, it is not to oily but just the right amount of moisture to get my eye makeup off without feeling greasy. I really feel like I am getting two products in one with this one it removes all makeup and two I feel like I am giving my eye area some extra moisturizing at the same time!  I don't always wear waterproof mascara but when I do I know that I can rely on Maybelline's Eye Makeup Remover to get all the mascara off of my lashes so I have no mascara residue at all left on my eyelashes or around my eyes! I would highly recommend this eye makeup remover to everyone and I will continue to use this product.
