I could never seem to find a good liquid eyeliner until I started to use this product. I notice that this goes on very easily, it has a nice applicator brush (although the felt tip is very stiff, and that can be a little bit frustrating). The actual formula of this product is extremely dark, it's true to color. A lot of times in the past, the liquid eyeliners I had used before came out watery and turned more of a gray color. This liquid eyeliner comes out jet black, and stays on all day. It's necessary that you don't rub your eyes with this product on, or it will fade and smudge all over the place.

Since I was 14 years old and my sister turned me on to Maybelline Liquid Eyeliners, I used Maybelline faithfully for about 10 years, thru all my styles, punk, goth, gypsy, .....until one day they changed the formula (probably like 15 years ago). Didn't say anything about it changing but from that day on every type of Maybelline liquid liner I bought would flake off my eyes (and INTO my eyes, ouch) in just an hour or so.  Figured they would realize this one day and change it back but no such luck. So what good is a liner that goes on easy, is smudge and waterproof but flakes off in big chunks? Lost a lifelong customer there...I would NEVER recommend this liner...unless you like the pain and possible injury related to large chunks of liner falling into you eye and leaving you with big unlined gaps around your eyes! Why the heck can't they just leave a great product alone! Or at least keep the original one avaiable and make a new name for the new formula...didn't work for Coke and it's does work for Maybelline in my opinion!

I have used the Maybelline Liquid Eyeliner for years and find it very eady to apply and it wears very well. I have tried other brands but always come back to the Maybelline. I have also tried liner pencils but the liquid works better for me.

**The Maybelline Liquid Eyeliner is....okay. For those of you who want a dramatic look, this is for you. The reasons being why I don't really like using this eyeliner is because I'm not the dramatic eye-effect look kind of person. I was hoping the applicator would align my eyes more precisely. I don't really go much places but out in public, and I don't want to look like I'm going to a party. I don't know, it's up to you and how you like it. I would much rather prefer using an eyeliner pencil as they allow better precision without making my eyes look too big. The tube this eyeliner comes in is okay as well, I think that the handle should be smaller, being that it's sort of tricky THE FIRST TIME to put it on your bottom eyelids. I like the colors, though. They are bold and pretty, everyone notices it, but in a good way. Again, it's really up to you, how you like this eyeliner, and what kind of look your going for. **

This eyeliner is absolutely amazing. I picked it up because it was the cheapest I could find, since the store was out of my usual eyeliner. However, it proved to be much better than the old liner. It doesn't fade or smear, no matter what you do. I can take a shower and wipe my face off in a way that removes my eyeshadow and other makeup, but the liquid liner stays exactly as it was when I applied it. You have to peel it off to remove it, which is very simple and fast to do. It lasts a lot longer than any other makeup I've found, and I've gone through almost every brand of liquid liner. It's cheaper than most eyeliner as well, and comes in a rather large bottle (atleast large compared to most tubes of liquid eyeliner.) Overall, I would definitely recommend, especially if you go out to clubs or live in hot weather. No matter how much you sweat or wipe your face off, the eyeliner will never smear.

I love the Maybelline Lineworks Ultra waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. I buy so many of these products during the summer time. I am an athlete so I sweat a lot during the summer time because of all the workouts that I have for myself. This product is great for those times. My sister also uses it as well but she has not found it as helpful as i have. It does take a steady hand with liquid eyeliners but they have always worked well for me. They make my eyelids pop and withstand any sweat that pops up. They are always a great price and are sold just about anywhere. They come off easily with my Pond's Cold Cream Makeup Remover. I love the feel of liquid eyeliners and the coolness they have when you apply them on your upper and lower lids. They are pretty small so are good to carry around if you feel like you want a touch up. It can get a little flaky which I why I tend to reapply but it does not bleed.

The Maybelline Lineworks Ultra Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner definitely has its pros and cons. The great thing about this product is that the eyeliner really sticks on your upper and lower lids. The con is that it's sometimes hard to get off. The product dries really quickly when you put it on and I have experienced some trouble with this. When applying this product to my lower lids I only have once chance to get the perfect line made. When I try to go over my pre-made lines, the product clumps. As the day goes on I noticed that the product started to flake off. I have good experiences with this product when I used it on my upper lids but definitely not with my lower lids. If you can manage to get the product on your lower lids, the look that is created is very nice, however, there is a lot of hassle that comes with it. I did not find the product to be very waterproof, it did melt a little when I got wet in the rain.

I have used this eyeliner in Black.This is the first waterprrof liner i have used. Things i Like about it: 1.Does not fade 2.Stays long. 3. Easy to apply. 4.Can create the look you want easily 5.Easy to clean. 6.Not messy 7.Jet black 6.Dries quickly.   Things I Dont like about it: 1.I wish it had a better brush. 2.If worn on a hot day for long, it tends to flake off.

I have used it for many many years now. It is waterproof that it won't smudge. I don't have double eye lids that my eyes are so small. However, when I use this, it makes my eye lids look double. The price is very affordable that it is around five bucks. You could get it cheaper when the drug store like rite aid, cvs, walgreens, or others have it buy one get it for free or fifty percent off. It is very worth to buy and try.  I like the color black and it makes the eyes look bigger. Even the cleaning up is easy. just wipe with eye remover wetted cotton, and wipe a few strokes. that it makes it clean and easy. How it will make your eyes so beautiful, you will be amazed. There are probably not waterproof, but make sure you buy the waterproof eye liner. Good for the busy ladies. it comes in several colors, and i liked the black best. Comparing to fancier expensive eye liners from lancome, chanel, or other brands, you will not be disappointed choosing maybelline over those. You could grab at the your corner drug store and sometimes sunday paper coupon inserts hae the coupon for maybelline. so use it wisely.

I mainy went for this eyeline because I wanted to buy a waterproof eyeliner. And this was advertised as a waterproof eyeliner. Well - it lives upto its name. It is definitely waterproof. But the problem is, every time I wear this eyeliner, I feel something heavy is on my eyelids. And I do not like that sensation. That is con number 1. Con number 2 is that, when I wear this in the morning, say at 8am, it lasts nicely till 4pm. After that, I could feel it coming out in patches!! Once I accidentally, rubbed my eyelids, and I was scared that I must have disturbed my eyeliner, but the worst part was that, when I rubbed my eyelid, a very small portion of the eyeliner, entered my eye!! And I had a hard time taking it out..sigh.so I decided not to go for this anymore. I like Maybelline's normal eyeliner the best so far. And I have been using it for 2 years now. I think I made a mistake to go for the "waterproof" eyeliner. And actually, I have a hard time taking it off when I wash my face in the evening!
