These really can't be beat for the price when you're looking to try out the mineral craze on the cheap. I would probably rate it even higher but I find that to get the best results I really have to use a primer to get it evenly on my skin and to show up nicely/dark enough for full coverage. It's a great product though overall. I just don't like adding more time to my routine. First, the container comes with a nice brush. The brush is soft but you need to flex it out a little before using it. The only pitfall to the kabuki is that it doesn't store in the foundation container. The container also doesn't have a mirror which I don't like. Mirrors are always a winner in my book. The foundation doesn't have much of a tint to it, which is great but it does have a slight one. I use porcelain ivory or ivory. I am very pale and find that lighter color often don't have nearly the orange and yellow tone affect that many foundations leave you with. This one is barely noticeable but because I am so pale I notice. The brush is usually good about getting the right amount of product but I like that the container is designed so I can tap excess back into it. The container also puts out a good amount of product without me having to shake it incessantly to get the product out. Overall a decent amount of coverage but it shows up very light unless I add a primer. I notice with a primer or even a cream or something underneath that this goes on thicker, fuller, and it gives me significantly much more coverage and even tone. Good buy for the money but could use a little less orange affect and a little more coverage power. Stays on best with a primer. Could use better staying power on it's own merit.

I decided to try this mineral powder out when I saw my friend use it and enhanced her makeup. Since I was highly interested I went out and got one myself. As I tried it my face got really dry and was very irritable. It made no difference to my skin whatsoever. I don't recommend this for people with dry skin.

This foundation really works! I've always had an acne problem, but since I switched to Maybelline Mineral power, I hardly notice any blemishes at all! It doesn't clog pores and I never have any problems with shine anymore! This stuff is great!

I have always used liquid foundation, but decided to try the new 'mineral' poweder foundations. I have been having good luck with Maybelline products, so I decided to give their product a try. I really do like it better than liquid foundation. It gives just as much coverage. Easy to apply. My skin does well with it for the most part--no breakout, pimples, etc. I have noticed though, that my skin--especially on my nose gets extremely dry. It is actually flaky and peeling. It took me awhile to connect that to the makeup, but I haven't been wearing makeup daily and I notice after a few days without makeup, my skin is not nearly as dry. As soon as I start wearing it again, my skin becomes dry and flaky all over. It is definitely this mineral foundation. I don't know if it's true of all mineral foundation powders or not since this is the first one I've tried. I am currently looking to switch brands and see if the dry skin persists.

I use Maybelline everything and was super-excited to see the mineral powder. The range of colors available seemed to cover most skin tones, though I go with Maybelline frequently because they nail the "Classic Ivory." After I purchased the powder foundation, I brought it home to "play" with and really liked it at first. It looks really cute on, though when my husband came in, he pointed out that the powder caked around my nose and my laugh/cheek lines. I was sure that I had simply applied to much, but that was not the case and it was really caked in those lines (I'm 26; they're not that bad). On the plus side, the "Classic Ivory" was great, as always! Afterwards, my neck and chest started to itch terribly. The area became red and I started to cough- as soon as I removed my makeup I began feeling much better. As ridiculous as it sounds, I wanted to ensure that it was the foundation and not another factor so I waited a month and used it again, with the same allergic experience the second time around. My frustration with the product was not so much my own allergy, but that there is no indication of the minerals that are in the "mineral" foundation. If you have any sensitivities, I suggest finding quality information about the minerals used in this foundation.

I was lucky to be able to head to my local drugstore and get it on sale.. I wasn't expecing much from it, especially being so cheap. To be honest I wasn't expecting more than the "just poured powder over my face" look. Cakey, powdery, Gross. So I was surprised to find out that it went on smoothly and gunk free.  Only issue, it looked orange-y. I had gotten the wrong shade. I was so sure that it was because I had bad judgement on my skin tone that I went back to get a couple shades lighter. I was right. If you get this product, you should get a few shades lighter than your skin to make it look like it should. So when I tried the new one it went on perfectly. In fact, you couldn't even tell I was wearing makeup, except for the fact that my skin looked flawless, of course. I have very sensitive, pale skin that doesn't like to cooperate with any of the makeup I buy so this product was a lifesaver. To top it off the brush that came with it is AMAZING!! I do not regret buying this at all.

Maybelline Mineral Powder foundation is an average product, while it could be great. The pros are many, but the cons are strong! One of the pros is that is mineral, so it looks and feel more natural, more organic, more pure and it is lightweight. The major con in my opnion is that it is almost imnpossible (at least for me) to find a color that matches your skin color. I bought the first make-up and it was way lighter, even though in the display it indicated that would be the right color for my skin. I changed to one shade darker,m but still light. I changed again for a darker one and it was too dark! I don't believe I have a rare skin color, I'm brunnete, olive skin color. I never had a problem to find matching make up before. I got frustrated, but then I decided to keep the darkest one I got and apply some lighter corrective before. This way now I am starting to appreciate the qualities of the make-up, which is light and soft. Also it did not give me pimples, since I am very allergic to some products.

The Maybelline Mineral Power Powder Foundation leaves my complexion looking smooth and even. The powder is light yet provides great coverage. It doesn't even feel like I am wearing make-up when using this product. The foundation lasts all day without wearing off, but washes of easily at night. Overall, it is a great value and a great product!

I love this Maybelline Mineral Power foundation ! it's great ! This foundation gives you all the coverage you need . I have freckles and allot of imperfection's from age and acne so I need a foundation that gives me good coverage in these areas . I have to use a concealer with most of the foundations I use but with Maybelline Mineral Power I do not have to worry about that step in the process of putting on my make up because its already taken care of . I have never had a foundation that I could skip putting on my concealer before the foundation but it's like the concealer and the foundation are mixed in one great product . The brush that comes with the foundation it great also because this brush evenly distributes the powder foundation on your face . It feels like you are brushing away all the dark spots and freckles right off my face .When considering to buy this product you will find that the price is average it will cost you about the same as the other foundations on the market today.So I would recommend this product to everyone because I love it so I think you all would love it too.

 I bought Maybelline Mineral Power Powder Foundation Creamy Natural Light 5 a year ago, and i have been using it since then. I absolutely love this product! There's nothing else I'd rather use right now! I gaves me a totally natural finish, and the product colour matches my skin tone perfectly. I love the fact, that it is a "healthy" make up product. I have a sensitive skin, however this product doesn't irritate my skin. I have one complaint, the kabuki brush that comes with it, felt a little rough though. Purchasing another one is probably not a bad idea. Maybelline Mineral Power Powder Foundation feels light weight and i think the colour selection is really good. This is an affordable product, that conbines great quality,and a reasonable price! I am definetely thinking of repurchasing the product, and i would totally recommend Maybelline Mineral Power Powder Foundation to a friend!
