I purchased about four different shades of this lip gloss to try them out, and I noticed that as the different colors changed, so would the actual formula. The formulas with more shimmer or sparkle would always be extremely thick and full of globs, while the formula with no shimmer would always be thinner and easier to apply. I definitely preferred the matte/no sparkle colors of this product, as it definitely was better suited to me and it was easily applicable. I didn't like the others at all, though.

The Maybelline ShineSensational Lip Gloss is a nice inexpensive lip gel to wear alone on a casual day or over the top of a matte lipstick to add shine for more special occasions. It is very sheer and transparent and extremely shiny. I really like that it is not sticky at all! It's almost like a tinted lip balm in a gel form. It is easily the least sticky inexpensive lip gloss I have ever used. I have it in the Cherry Kiss shade, which is slightly bright cherry red tinted. It smells really amazing, like cherries, and it even tastes O.K, sort of like an artificial cherry. I like to wear it best when running errands on a casual day since it gives me a little glam but doesn't dry out my lips throughout the day or look noticeably bad when it starts to come off. I would definitely recommend it for someone who wants a kissable (not sticky) lip gel but isn't looking for too much color pigmentation because it's very sheer.

I have a tendency to get chapped lips, especially in the fall and winter when it's colder, drier, and windier. So, I look for and use lip products that multitask -- moisturize, protect, add color, etc. -- and Maybelline's Shine Sensational lip gloss is one of them. It's on the gooey side, but it's not sticky, and there are shadees that are glossy shiny, glittery shiny, &/or pearlescent shiny, which is nice. Some are also more sheer, while others are not. In general, a nice variety -- easy to find, often on sale. All around a good thing.

I bought this for around 3 bucks and I was pleasantly surprised that this product is AWESOME! Feels great when you're wearing it, as well as looks great! I have the Berry Bella flavor, and it smells soooo great. The color is very well also.

they have many different shades and color of this brand which I have not tried. I am reviewing one with no color really. I like the natural look of my lips so I always buy clear or tranlucent  lip glosses. maybeline shine sensational is an amazing brand. It has a slanted tip rather than a rounded tip. I personally like that with this product. I like the look of the packaging. mine has a fruit on the front and a nice silvery cap. this product like others does not leave a gross taste in you mouth if you happen to lick your lips.  okay now to the product that i actually use.. mine is 05 peach sorbet, it is not clear in color it is more of a peachy color. when I put it on it looks clear. this gloss likes my lips pop! I love the look! it is very shiny. It smell great and even tastes good.(but I do not recommend eating this product! haha) this is not a super sticky lip gloss it is very smooth. If you like the natural look of your lips I would recommend using the peach sorbet, this color has no shimmer. I hope that you will like it as much as I do!

***Quick View:*** My older sister always buys lip glosses in somewhat deep hues and always ends up giving them to me because she is stuck in the 60's pink-almost-white lip color rut. She recently handed me two tubes of **Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss** and, while they looked way too shimmery for me in the tube, I actually really, really like them! ***My Take on Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss*** These tubes of gloss come in 18 different shades in all color families. I was given two in the same family - Berry Dazzle and Berry Bella. These glosses come in a plastic see through tube with a silver top. The applicator is a slanted plastic one with a small hole for the product to squeeze out of. They remind me a lot of [DuWop's Venom Lip Plumping Gloss ][1] - minus the plumping and stinging. I could immediately see shimmer in these glosses and almost told my sister to pass them on to someone else but I figured for free, I'd try them out. The first one I tried was Berry Dazzle. It doesn't look berry hued to me. It looks more brown with very deep berry tones which I really like. The gloss glided on well and gave my lips mega watt shine. AMAZING shine. There was shimmer but not crazy, glitter ball shimmer. It just sort of added to the intense shine of the gloss. I fell in love with the shade and the formula. Then I tried Berry Bella. That shade is a bit lighter than the first and more berry hued. Loved it. It looked truly dazzling on my lips. The fun thing with these glosses is that they taste great. They have a sugary taste and a sweet, fruity scent. Although on my lips, **Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss** looks very grown up and pretty, I feel like a kid again playing with flavored, scented lip gloss. This gloss is somewhat sticky but that helps it to stay put. It does fade away rather quickly as most glosses do but reapplication is fast and easy. I have had much pricier glosses that were housed in the same type of tube that were far less appealing on me and wore off faster. Maybelline made a winner of a gloss with this formula. ***My Viewpoint*** Inexpensive, lots of shades, flattering on the lips, tasty, and great smelling, **Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss **is a real steal. There once was a girl who hated messing with lipgloss, and thus her beauty routine was sadly impeded by matte lipcolors and dried out old liners adorning her kissable lips. Until one day Miss Thang decided that she would give lip gloss another try after seeing a display of Maybelline Shine Sensationals poised high upon a cosmetic display in her local Target. With a smell right from the candy store and a light delectable bit of taste, she was still dubious. Wouldn't this lip gloss surely be too sticky? Ah, but she should have never feared, the Shine Sensational Line is smooth, fills in lines, gives lip a nice sheen, and isn't STICKY! It's just smooth and fluid, the way lips should be, and the way Miss Thang's kisses with hubby definitely are. She owns as of this writing, shade 25, "Glamorous Guava", shade 65, "Crazy for Caramel", and shade 35, "Sparkling Grape," all with deliciously edible and kissable scents!
