I received this as part of a gift in the grape flavor. I believe it is called "Jelly Jam"; it comes in a purplish dark red. It smelled good. I am used to reapplying lip gloss throughout the day, so the fact that it wore off every time I took a sip of water or ate a snack didn't particularly bother me, though it would have been nice if the color or flavor lasted longer than that. But, as for the color, it wasn't very bright. I don't necessarily expect all my lip glosses to be terribly bright, but with wet n' wild lipglosses (like their long, thin ones, which are considerably cheaper) I did see a some change in lip color. With this one, it was just the slightest bit of color, with some shine. This lip gloss is a bit sticky if it comes in contact with anything like hair, but not as bad as some glosses I've experimented with in the past. When I lost the Maybelline Shiny-Licious gloss, I bought a new one simply because I was so pleased with the flavor. If you just want to experiment with new colors, though, I would recommend a different line of lipglosses. This would make a good stocking stuffer for a teenager or a college student, or someone who loves beauty products!

Maybelline's Shinylicious Lip Gloss is truly the best lip product ever made!  I've been using it everyday for years and I receive tons of compliments all the time!  On weekends I don't like to get all ready with hair and make up unless I'm going out, but I ALWAYS have my shinylicious on so my lips feel wonderful!  Even if I'm just at home doing household chores, I always have my shinylicious on my lips and they are so happy!  It's SOOO much better than any chapstick or any other lip product out on the market today and I'm so very sad to say that I can no longer find my #1 product anywhere!  I'm very disappointed the all my local stores have taken my fave gloss off the shelves and replaced it with Shinesensational, which is no where near as fab as my shinylicious! :(  While wearing my shinylicious lip gloss I've been told tons and tons of times how kissable my lips look! PLEASE BRING BACK MY SHINYLICIOUS!  PLEEEEEASE!!!

I usually never really liked wearing lip gloss and if i would wear it i would only wear the clear one until a friend gave me one because she had been given a lot and it was similar to this one but a lighter pinkish and i really liked in fact many people had told me i looked nice =]

Maybelline shiny licious in number 50 sugar plum is a beautiful gloss which was given to me by my eighteen year old daughter, Stacy. This product is made in the United States.  It is a .38 fl. oz. tube which is small yet not used up immediately.  The color of the cap is the same as the color on my lips, yet it is also different in the tube. I keep it by the desk computer for right when I go to the busstop each afternoon for after a day of monotonous chores I know at least my lips look and feel good. There are 2 other shades also given to me the same day by my daughter which I have not yet tried because i simply prefer this shade I tried first.    It is thin enough to be shoved in a tight jean pocket and the lid screws on, not like some chapsticks. I had a saddening experience with pokemon chapsticks where the lid and cute pokemon character were there, but the chapstick had disappeared wherever my daughter had been.

I should first start by saying I don't like lipgloss I hate that it doesn't last and I hate the way it feels. There are a few that I do like, this is not one of them. The Maybelline Shinylicious Lip Gloss had so many things that bothered me I don't know where to start. I guess I could start by saying the colors are weak. They don't look anything like they do in the bottle on your lips. The second problem I had was the texture. This lip gloss is so sticky! You would think with all the stickyness it would stick to your lips and last a long time, right? WRONG! This lasted a whole ten minutes before it was gone and I had to reapply. If you want to be doing that all day then by all means use this product but I have a busy schedual and important things to do, I can't be pulling out a lip gloss every ten minutes. The flavor was the only thing about this product that I actually liked. Now, I love most Maybelline products, but this is one that I would not recomend to anyone.

        i have tried this lip gloss in apple red, berry bella(which gave a soft dewy look to my lips almost as if i just put lipbalm on with a bit of glitter in it), and my favorite one of all double or nothing. that was maybelline's shinylicious lipgloss duos. 2 great colors that blend together for a juicy and sift look. i gotta go get me some more of that. the rich pink coor and the diamond glitter gloss did the trick!

This lipgloss gives your lips a nice sheer bust of fruity flavored color.  It lasts through cigarettes, drinks, and the rest of your day or night out.  The flavors are great and it has a wonderful selection of colors.  The shine is just enough, it draws attention to your lips without making you look like a twelve year old who was just introduced to makeup.  Its reasonably priced and worth a try.

It's really hard for me to get out of a drugstore without buying a new lip gloss.  If I'm just running in and out I can usually skip the gloss but if I'm waiting for a prescription or just killing time I almost always end up walking out with at least one new gloss.  One of the brands that always catches my eye is OK **Maybelline Shiny-licious Lip Gloss.  **The colors just look so fruity and yummy and colorful in the tubes that I cannot resist them. I generally don't like lip gloss in this type of soft plastic tube as the applicator with the hole in the middle grosses me out but this one I like.  The slanty tip on the applicator is covered in a flocked type of material which is nice and soft and allows me to have more control during application. This gloss is quite thick and rich.  It is also quite shiny and leaves just a trace of added color on my lips.  I'd prefer a bit more color so I can wear it alone so I just wear it over the top of a lip stain for added color.  Because Shinylicious is so thick it's also fairly long lasting.  I only need to reapply every 2 hours or so which is better than most glosses. Although Shinylicious smells great (like bubble gum and cherry Koolaid) it doesn't taste like much.  When I lick my lips I pick up a faint Kool Aid taste but it's not so delicious that I find myself eating my own lips trying to get a taste of the gloss.  4 stars - recommended although I find it a bit expensive at six bucks.
