I recently started doing my lashes to look fake. Like the spider look. I found this one and thought it was going to make my lashes look like that but it did not. I was surprised but I loved the results that I saw. My lashes were fanned out, long and pulled apart. They really did look fake. The pretty kind where you can see each individual lash. I loved this mascara. I have not been able to find it lately but when I do I am stocking up. Performance No matter what mascara i use I always apply two coats just to make sure that my eyelashes get covered completely. I use to coats and it seem to be perfect. The lashes still fan out and look beautiful. Ease of Application I love the brush because I can do my top and bottom lashes with it. With a curly brush it is hard to do the bottom lashes because the brush touches others parts of the eye. My bottom lashes end up looking just as beautiful as my top lashes. I am glad I found this product.

There was a time when I would have told anyone who suggested that I try high end mascara that I was just fine using drugstore mascara. I got fantastic performance from quite a few mascara brands sold at the drugstores. Maybelline Volum' Express Washable Mascara was one of them. I got fantastic volume and nice looking lashes from using Maybelline Volum' Express Washable Mascara and bought it for some time. Then suddenly one day I bought a new mascara tube, but the performance had completely changed. This review is based upon the newest formulation of this mascara and not the previous years that I loved this mascara. Performance When I first used this mascara, my lashes looked defined, lush, and very nice. The currently formulation, however, leaves a lot to be desired. My lashes stay sticky so that every time I blink my eyes, the lashes stick, and they never seem to dry. The lashes flake and leave some crumbs of color below my lashes on my face. The lashes don't stay nice for long- by the end of an hour, if I can stand the sticky feeling that long, my lashes start to flake so much that I have to take it off. I can remove it with regular makeup remover or soap and water. Ease of Application I can not get this mascara to apply evenly or nicely- as it tends to clump. The original formulation used to go on beautifully, but the currently one clumps terribly on me. I also have problems with the sticky feeling so I have to say that this just doesn't cut it anymore. Sadly, it went from one of my favorite mascaras to one that I can no longer use.

I frequently like to try new mascara's but since I've found the Maybelline Volum Express Mascara I haven't been doing that. This mascara goes on easily and with a few applications gives your lashes that big, fat, full look that most mascara's can't achieve. It you do find a mascara that will plump your lashes up, it usually feels like your lashes are "caked up". This mascara doesn't feel that way. Another feature of this mascara is it's relatively easy to take off. I use warm water and a soapy washcloth and it comes right off. Another feature I like is that it's usually lower in price than other "similar type" mascara's. That's really important these days. It gives me the full look I want without having to pay a department store price. Since I've been using this mascara I've gotten lots of compliments on my lashes. People think my lashes are longer and fuller. They can't believe it when I tell them it's the mascara. If a mascara makes people think your lashes are full and long then it must be doing something right!

So far I like this product, I would have to say its in my top three. I really like this mascara because it last all day and only comes off if rub in your face. It makes my eyelashes truly pop but soemtimes it runs easily and it comes off on clothing. It also starts to clump faster than my other two favorite mascaras. I really like it but there are a few areas I would like improved. Maybe it could be smudge proof and also at the end of the day when I go to wash it off its hard to get it all off and it comes off messy. I really think this mascara has the potential to be one of the best if they would fix these very minor problems although these issues are not enough to keep me from using this product because it is still one of my favorite mascaras to use and maybelline is one brand that  I trust and love, I use maybelline lipstick, lipgloss, eyeshadow and most of everything they make. Maybelline is my favorite brand of makeup so when I go to buy my makeup supply I dont like having to go to another section fo rmy mascara. So please maybelline make this product better because I am a faithful customer and I dont want to use another brand. I believe in maybelline.

I LOVE this mascara. It goes on beautifully, and most importantly, it goes on easy! The thin brush is perfect for reaching the corner lashes and getting into those hard to reach small lashes. It doesnt clump, it isn't too thick and you dont have the feeling that your wearing something heavy on your eyelashes like a lot of mascara's can do. Maybelline really did a great job on this, I've been using the Maybelline volum express for years, and switch between the waterproof and regular depending on the occasion. The best thing I love about this mascara is it doesnt run when you have the odd teary moment. I find it comes off best, with a baby wipe.. no mess, no fuss, just swipe. But I must say if your looking for a new mascara for day to day use, give this one a try, it really does the trick in defining, and making you look like you've got more, than you've really got, and not to much either to look fake. Just enough to draw attention to your eyes.

I use a few different mascaras on a regular basis, but lately my mascara of choice has been **Maybelline Volum' Express Washable Mascara** in black/brown. In general, I'm not a huge fan of Maybelline mascara (the pink and green tube that everyone loves? not me!) however this mascara is an exception. I have had a great experience using the Volum' Express, from application in the morning throughout the day. It goes on very easily without clumps, even after adding another coat or two. The mascara stays on great, not flaking off or fading over the course of the day. When wearing it, my lashes look full, thick and long, but still natural, which is great. The coloring of the black/brown is ideal for my complexion (I have fair skin and blue eyes). Naturally, as with any Maybelline product, this is also easy to find at most mass-merchandiser stores, and is priced very reasonably (especially if you have a coupon!). I definitely recommend this mascara to others, and will continue to use it myself as well.****

When I first started using this mascara, I didn't really like it. I thought it was clumpy and didn't separate my lashes. Nonetheless, I continued using it in hopes of it getting better. Quite to my surprise, it actually did get better and I started to love it! Now I can say that this mascara is really quality stuff. The wand workes well to catch all my lashes and pull them upward. It is not that expensive, either! It definetly makes my lashes look fuller and more volumized. The only bad thing, I wouls say, is that it is sort of hard to remove. I am not sure why, but I always have makeup still left under my eyes after using this product. That is not a big deal when you consider the great valuea of this mascara, though.

I have been using Maybeline Volum Express for over ten years and I absolutely love it. It is one of the best ones made, I have tried almost everything that comes out and found many of them not not be true to their name. It extends my lashes to its fullest and gives them a great coat, and washes off when needed with no problem.

Personally, I used to go for the more expensive brands, thinking I was paying for quality. Now that I have tried Maybelline Volum Express, I love it! Volum Express is affordable and gets the job done. It covers every lash and volumizes instead of lengthens, which is what I need because my lashes are long enough! I am more for makeup that plays up my natural features without looking like I am wearing a lot of it, so I go for the Brown Black. The color delicately plays up my lashes without darkening them too much. When I go to Walmart and see someone trying to figure out what mascara to buy, I usually direct them to Maybelline. The products look great, are affordable and actually work, unlike some of the other cheaper brands. I'm sure anyone who wants to look great, feel great, and not break the bank would enjoy Maybelline. It's a brand that I truely believe was made in order to compete with the more costly makeup, but still be cheap enough for the average woman!
