This Maytag gas dryer does exactly as I expected. I am a long time Maytag fan. The drum is high capacity and always stops at exactly the right time--has never overdryed a single load. In my household it is used virtually day. What more could I ask.

This Maytag gas dryer had the biggest load capacity of any that I have ever owned.  The best part is that it 'knows' when your clothes are dry so they never overheat and ruin the elastic in undergarments.  The lighted drum is a Godsend so I don't leave a sock or two in there.

My last two dryers were maytags and I never had any problems with them or the service from the Maytag people.   This particular dryer gets the job done - and gets it done right the first time with minimal input from me.  Use the energy choice drying selection and every time - no matter how little or how big the load is and your clothes are dry the first time the dryer shuts off.   Although it could be a tad quieter, I am satisfied with the noice level.  All in all, why change, when Maytag has proven its reliability again and again
