Bought this refrigerator because mine was dying and it's way nicer than I expected. You can rearrange all the shelving to suit your needs. I haven't had a chance to hook up the ice and water yet but everything else works perfectly. The drawer in the bottom is my favorite feature it works well to keep my toddlers snacks so they can have that feeling of independence. There isn't a lot of room for sodas or other beverages which is my biggest complaint.

Compressor died 1 yr out of extended warranty. Company would do nothing to help. I would never buy a Maytag product again! Don't believe the Maytag commercials! I bought a Samsung instead!

The fridge is extremely spacious and has lots of storage inside to store all my foods.It is quite strong and works without any weird noises. one of the best fridges I have ever owned. Interior Organization Interiors are well organized. Lots of storage inside and the doors alike. You can organize your foods items and find the stuff you needed quite easily without any problem. Ease of Cleaning The cleaning is extremely easy. Just remove the shelves,drawers and other interior parts of the fridge, then clean it with some soda and water. It can be done within minutes. Durability The fridge looks strong and durable right from the outset. I had mine for few years now, till now it never failed and performs absolutely great. It should last for few more years at least if not more.

I am fairly satisfied with the performance of my Maytag French Door Refrigerator. I have always viewed Maytag as one of the leaders in appliances. I thought it was a great purchase after using it for a month with no problems occurring. Then disaster struck! I woke up one morning and my carpeted kitchen floor was flooded from melted ice that had formed on the bottom of the freezer. For some reason, it thawed during the night and ran all over my carpet. I was very upset. I had to call someone to come over and move the refrigerator so I could get the water out of the carpet before it started smelling stale. I made a mental note to make sure there was no ice build up in the bottom of the freezer compartment. I really like the french doors of the refrigerator. When I close the left side it seals tightly to keep the left side cold while I'm in the right side. I put my milk, cheese, yogurt, etc., on the left side because I know the temperature is more regulated. The stainless steel is easy to clean and looks very nice in my kitchen. I have read a lot of bad reviews about this refrigerator, but other than the ice melting that one time, I haven't had any issues with the Maytag French Door Refrigerator. Noise Level This refrigerator is very quiet, which I love. My old refrigerator sounded like an old house with all the odd sounds it made.

Works great Interior Organization It appears neat and organized, however there isnt a lot of space inside the refridgeration part. Maybe for a family of 2 or four, but I have a family of six. There isn't anywhere to put condiments and the shelf under the ice maker is almost pointless. I use it for bread because the ice maker is above the shelf making it so you can't put anything tall there. Durability This unit is sturdy and quite heavy. I will say that my son ran his tonka truck into it and it did leave a small dent, but I dont think the appliance was designed for the wrath of a toddler and his tonka. Design If the ice maker wasnt above a much needed shelf and made room for a third shelf on the left side of the refridgerator, the design would be perfect. Also, the water/ice machine in on the front of the door is handy, except you can't rest your cup down and the drip tray isnt removable nor does it have a grste. However, it functions perfectly and these are minor complaints that do not interfere with the actual function of the appliance.

I purchased this refrigerator a number of months ago. overall, it has functioned quite well. The fridge on top/freezer on the bottom design is most convenient. Most people access their fridge much more often than their freezer and this design results in much less bending and stooping. The drawer style freezer, however does result in more "digging" for the items you are looking for and can result in more "lost" food items. Being able to open both fridge doors at the same time allows for good fridge visibility. The drawer on the deli drawer did break (the plastic hinges broke) within two years of purchase and that was disappointing. Noise Level Don't notice noise, except for the alarm that goes off if you leave the door open too long:) Interior Organization Good access to food items in the fridge. Adequate access in the freezer. Temperature Control OK. On occasion my veggies will freeze in the produce drawer. Ease of Cleaning Easy to get into, just as it is easy to see food in the fridge. Durability The door to the produce drawer cracked and it is no longer usable. Design Easy access to food items in the fridge. It is most convenient to have the fridge on top and freezer on the bottom.

This is the most efficient refrigerator I have ever owned Design I like the design with the freezer drawer at the bottom. The food seems to stay fresh longer with the internal cooling into each compartment. I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a good deal

This is the best fridge/freezer I have ever owend. It is spacious, the shelves are well planned and it runs quiet, and is easy to organize. Very durable it can take the beating that my 11 year old gives it. This is the best thing I ever bought for the holidays. It fits ALL the left overs. Noise Level Runs very quiet. You barely notice it is there. You notice the kick on and then forget about it. Interior Organization Great interior set up. Plenty of shelf and door space. Easy to organize food stuffs and find what you need. Temperature Control Temperature is very easy to adjust. Ease of Cleaning Ok, it doesn't get a 10 in ease of cleaning but that is only because it doesn't clean itself. You still have to remove drawers and shelves to get it REALLY clean. It is no harder to clean than any other fridge/freezer and at least it doesn't need to be defrosted. Durability Pretty durable. It stands up to my 11 yr old boy who hangs on and slams the doors. Design Love the design. Well planned and executed. It has plenty of room and makes organizing easy.

I am sorry I bought this refrigerator. It is beautiful, and I wanted to buy American. Within a month, the bottom plastic piece broke off. Nothing fits in the refrigerator because of the configuration of the shelves, and the ice maker takes up valuable space. What a disappointment. Durability Cheap plastic grill on the bottom broke off very easily It is attached by a narrow plastic tab. Not under warranty, of course.
