Great Fragrance, Dried Out My Hands
One of the many places I have had to visit repeatedly the last few years had a most interesting pink clear tear dropped bottle of hand soap in the bathroom. I loved the scent, so I looked at the bottle to find out what it was so perhaps I could get some for my house. It was called Method Pink Grapefruit. When I used it, the smell was great. The feeling on my hands was not too bad on some days, but on others, it dried out my skin. **INGREDIENTS** *Aqua (water), sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamide DEA, cocamidopropyl betaine, glycerin, aloe barbadensis gel, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), citric acid, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, benzophenone-4, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, parfum (fragrance), red 33 (Cl 17200), red 4 (Cl 14700)* Effectiveness I didn't notice my hands drying out quite as badly as other hand soaps such as Equate, for instance, but I still had days when using this soap left my hands feeling a bit too dry. When I looked up the ingredients, I saw that it had sodium lauryl sulfate in it which is a heavy de-greaser that always is too harsh for my hands. I used it on the occasions when I had to, but despite the great scent, I couldn't continue using it or buying it due to it drying my hands out too much. Scent The grapefruit scent is really lovely. I like it. I just wish it didn't dry out my hands.
