Face it, vacuuming is not something anyone looks forward to doing. So, it's always good to have a vacuum that doesn't let you down. This is that vacuum friend! Every time I use this vacuum I applaud myself for not going with another model that was more modestly priced. Yes, it was expensive; but, yes it was well worth all that I spent on it. It does a tremendous job on all surfaces. I have a cat who sheds and this vacuum has not problem with taking care of that pesky issue on either carpets or my hardwood floors. The design lends itself to ease of maneuverability which is important since cats can find very interesting tight spots to hide in and to shed in! This also speaks to the suction power which is more than adequate with dealing with the accumulation of pet hair and dust. Likewise, the filtering system works very well at addressing allergens. I have had only one "tune up" on the vacuum and the technician indicated that I could have done without it, I was accustomed to having to do that type of preventive maintenance with a previous brand and out of habit assumed it was necessary for the Miele, which proved to be a poor assumption most likely because of quality of the product not requiring such frequent maintenance. As is likely evident, I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it! Yes, at first it appears a bit costly, but once you own it you will realize that it was well worth it.

Love, love, love the Miele Vacuum!  We have a border collie and 2 young children so we're vacuuming all the time, yes I said "we're", my husband also loves the Miele Vacuum, in fact I think he uses it more than I do ;-)  It picks up everything on the floor.  When my first daughter was younger she was afraid of the vacuum that we had, assuming it was too loud and scared her.  The Miele is nice and quiet.  It is easy to move around and get into corners.  My 3 year old has been using the vacuum for about a year now (on the vinyl flooring), shows you how light it is.  We don't have to sweep the kitchen floor because the Miele Vacuum does the job.  It is worth every penny.  We've had this vacuum for about 5 years and it works just as great as the day we got it.  You truly get what you pay for.  We have had our fair share of cheap vacuums, in the end you will end up paying the same.  Get the Miele Vacuum, you won't regret it!

I own 2 Miele's, one is 15 years old and still works great and the other is 3 years old.  I professionally clean for a living for 19 years now, so I have used everything from rainbow vacuums, dysons, eureka, hoover, kirbys, to mieles.  Miele's are in my opinion the best vacuums.  They have hepa filtration, clean fabulously, are quiet and easy to use.  They are expensive but you get what you pay for, and they are an exceptional vacuum.  I have gotten 3 of the homes I work at to buy miele's because theirs were very poor quality and they are all very happy with their purchase.  The miele is easy to switch from vacuuming the floor to putting the dusting attachment on to dust  and then back again.  It is lightweight and easy to hold in one hand as you climb stairs vacuuming them.  It is very versatile.  It cleans hard floors exceptionally well and has a powered carpeting attachment that does a great job! Well worth the investment, especially for the length of time they last-years and years!!!

My husband bought this vacuum for two specific reasons.  We have hard wood floors, and he HATES dust!  This is a wonderful vacuum.  Since purchasing it, we moved into a home with a built-in vacuum system, and we never use it!  We use our Miele instead.  It's convenient, the handle is so easy on your wrists and convenient to control the power and speed settings.  It's lightweight enough to easily vacuum the stairs, and the head is very soft on our floors.  But maybe the best part of this little canister is the hepa filtration which absolutely does not kick dust back through the house!
