I have had my coffee maker for just over two years now and I have to admit that it is a great buy for the price. You can always find Mr. Coffee Coffeemakers for a reasonable price and know that they are going to withstand. There is nothing spectacular about this coffee maker; it is very plain, simple and standard. You can program it and it doesn't get more user-friendly than this make and model, which is exactly what I was looking for when I bought it. I wanted put my water and filter in with a scoop of coffee and be done. It definitely serves its purpose without complaint. The glass of the pot is thin and you have to be careful not to bump it on anything when pulling it out or putting it in the maker or washing it. I would definitely recommend as a standard coffee maker!

Oh, It has all the features I wanted...pause and serve, removable filter, two hour auto Shut-off, cord storage, dual water windows, and it is water filtration adoptable (you know how fussy I am about my water)." My husband, Ron,  makes the **Mr. Coffee **coffee at our place and it tastes great! The **Mr. Coffee **coffeemaker, itself, does everything the literature states and does it fine. The **clock** works, and the digits show up nicely due to the green led. I love the **Mr. Coffee's Pause-and-Serve** function. The **Mr. Coffee VBX20 model,** has a **delay-brew function** allowing you to program the coffeemaker before you go to bed, and awaken in the morning to the one-of-a-kind smell of fresh brewing coffee. This model also has what I consider to be one of the most important features in a coffeemaker--it automatically shuts off after two hours. I hate to admit it, but, much to my dismay, I have unintentionally left coffee pots on for longer than two hours before, not a good thing to do! Finally, I must mention the one foible my **Mr. Coffee VBX20**model has. The decanter that came with my coffeemaker came with leaks from the spout. Both my husband and I have tried to carefully pour a cup of coffee without it "leaking" but to no avail. However, I will be contacting customer service and anticipate a positive resolution to the problem. After all, in large letters on the box my **Mr. Coffee VBX20 model, 12 cup Programmable Coffeemaker** came in **,** are the following words : "Quality You Can Trust."

This coffee pot has many features. It is programmable so you can set it ahead of time and start brewing your coffee at a certain time. It has a removable filter basket that lifts out of brew basket for quick and easy cleaning. It has a pause and serve button that allows you to pour a cup of coffee while the coffee pot is still brewing. It has a two hour shut off that keeps the coffee warm for two hours and then shuts off automatically. It has a on and off light that indicates when the coffee maker is on or off. It has two sides to view the amount of water in the reservoir to fill it accurately. It is easy to clean and fill the coffee pot. It is a little pricier than some coffee pots, but it has held up well and we use it at our office everyday sometimes brewing two pots a day. The only problem I sometimes have is that the coffee grounds leak from the basket and end up in the coffee pot once in awhile. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a dependable everyday coffee maker.

What a great coffee maker! We got this as a wedding gift as we had it on our registry and we both love it! It is an affordable coffee maker that still does a top notch job! It holds 12 cups of coffee which is great because we like to make lots of coffee. One of the best features about this coffee pot is that it is programable! We can place the filter, coffee, and water in at night and set the time that we want it to start brewing so that fresh, delicious coffee is ready by the time that we wake up! What a great aroma to wake up to! The coffee pot is nice because it also has a clock which is great for me because I am always searching for a clock to tell me the time. Also, the pot itself is glass and sturdy. It has a pore spout at the end which works nicely and does allow for many drips and it very easy to clean. The coffee maker can be left on to keep the coffee warm, but it does not burn the coffee itself. It is a very simple and easy to use machine!
