I purchase a lot of Mr. Coffee products due to their low price and good performance. The Mr. Coffee Steam Espresso Machine was the first espresso machines I ever purchased. I am glad I chose this simple machine as my beginners espresso machine. This is a very straight forward machine. You add your coffee then add your water. You hit one button and your espresso will be done in a matter of minutes. You will save yourself time and money each morning when you use this machine. You are not wasting your time in a line at a Starbucks and then giving them money for an overpriced espresso. I did not use the milk steamer on this device, so I cannot say if it is good or bad. Overall, I recommend this machine! It is reasonably priced, simple to use, and makes a great drink. Brew Performance This brews a great cup of espresso! I have no reason to run to Starbucks when I can make a tasty drink in my own kitchen. In the long run this machine saved me money since I was not leaving my house to buy overpriced espresso. Ease of Cleaning If you use the milk steamer make sure to clean it well, sometimes the milk can get caught up inside it. Ease of Use This is very simple to use. You simply fill the machine with coffee, water, and push the start button. I did not use the milk steamer part but my boyfriend said that part was kind of difficult to figure out. Design This machine is compact and is great for small spaces such as dorms, RV's, or small apartments.

I worked at a coffee shop for a while, and this Christmas I wanted an espresso machine to make my own drinks. I got this machine, and I have to say it works decently. The pros: it's small so it fits on the counter, it's easy to learn how to do it, it's fast, and it does what it says it does. The cons: the steamer doesn't warm up the milk too well, it doesn't steam the milk well overall. Overall, I think it's a good, low priced espresso maker for starters! However, don't expect to make beautiful coffee shop creations with it. Durability I give it a 9 so far.

Over all i really like this product. I am a big coffee drinker. I love espressos and that i can make any flavored coffee drink with the Mr coffee steam Espresso Machine. I have saved lots of money over the few years i have had this machine. Brew Performance It brews great. It is fast and makes it just right. Ease of Cleaning It is fairly easy to clean. The steamer is a little hard to clean, but not difficult. You just need to make sure you do it right a way so the milk dose not dry on to it. I like the removable metal coffee filter, vary nice and easy to clean. Ease of Use it is easy to use. Just fill the metal basket to where you want with coffee grounds and the pot with water and fill, and turn on. not much to think about or mess up. Design I like its design, fits well in my kitchen. It is simple and compact. I like the reusable removable metal filter. saves money on buying the papers ones all the time. Durability It is vary durable, I have dropped it a few times in moves or just taking it from one side of kitchen to the other and it still works.

I bought my mom this espresso maker for Christmas last year, so she's had it just over a year now. She had recently started drinking espresso and had asked for a machine to make it at home. I wasn't sure what one model offered over another so I started reading some reviews. The Mr. Coffee had pretty good reviews, and the price couldn't be beat, so I got it for her. She's used it a couple times per month now for about a year and says it makes a perfect cup every time. She sticks to the store brands and doesn't stray out to the exotics too much, but I imagine it would make a good cup regardless of what kind you used. I'm not a huge espresso drinker myself, but I tried some out of this machine and it was good. I would definitely purchase this again.

One of the earliest espresso machines that we purchased is the Mr Coffee and we found it simple to use. We were able to make affordable espresso drinks at home instead of going to the coffee shops. This machine can be quieter than the pump espresso and is less expensive but if you like a lot of crema we recommend the pump machine. This one comes with a carafe and the pump machine does not. For replacement carafes I have found that generic carafes do also work well as long as you measure the height of the the glass cup so that it will fit. You can also you a metal carafe that is sometimes included with this product. The glass carafe is the best for espresso because you can measure the shots more effectively.

If you like making espresso, this will fit the bill. It is good at doing that. The instructions are a little hard to follow and it's not the most user friendly thing out there especially compared to my Keurig, but whatever I figured it out eventually. but the other features are kind of a nightmare and I don't know how to do half of that stuff. Cleaning this isn't the easiest process either. But I guess for fourty bucks you can't complain too much even though I just did. Brew Performance Good for espresso it's main function. Ease of Cleaning Would like to see it be easier to take apart to get into the small places to clean. Ease of Use Instructions are confusing but eventually it's easy to use. Design Maybe related to ease of use but this isn't the easiest or most intuitive thing to use. Durability I don't use it that much so I can't say but it seems to be holding up ok for now.

The Mr. Coffee Espresso / Cappuccino maker does a decent job of making espresso. It's definitely easier to use the espresso portion than the arm that froths the milk. I actually had the thing for 7 years before I figured out how to use the milk frother, and even then my friend figured it out when I couldn't. It makes a good cup of espresso, but the other features could have been better. I chipped the carafe almost immediately after getting it, but thankfully haven't had any radiating fractures in the glass so I haven't had to replace it. I wouldn't recommend the steam feature of this machine at all. It doesn't froth the milk as well as I would want it. It's hard to make a decent latte or cappuccino with it. Best to stick with the espresso and enjoy that part if all you want is a good espresso maker. I love the metal filter, definitely keeps up and is very easy to clean out after use.
