Neocate worked wonders on our Milk Soy Protein Intolerant babies.  We know that breastfeeding is the better alternative, but when that is not an option, Neocate was a decision that we don't regret.  We started out on Soy formula, moved up to Alimentum but we were still having issues with a fussy, sick child.  Screaming for 10-13 hours a day, finally our Dr. recommended Neocate.  It only took a couple weeks for our baby to be transformed, she still had some issues with fussiness, but overall was a totally differnt baby.  The negative's of the formula are...one that the size of the can is much smaller than a regular can of formula and two that it cost about 4 times as much as a regular can of formula.  Unfortunately insurance doesn not, in most cases, cover or even help out with the formula, so unless you are on medicade or welfare, you are not going to get help with the cost of the formula.  But, if you can afford it, it is a wonderful way to go.
