Along with the Rapid Clear face cleanser, I also bought the 2 in 1 fight and fade gel. I have not used this product as much as the cleanser, because since using the cleanser, there has not been much to fight or fade! After washing my face, I put this on a few of my pesky pimples and went to bed. Redness was gone and so was the pimple. This gel is seriously a miracle in a tube! It is super convenient and easy to use! I keep it in my purse for those emergencies right before a big meeting. This powerful miracle gel works at shrinking that pimple almost instantly. At first, this does burn. If you do have an open popped pimple, expect it to really burn. I try to only apply to closed wounds. Also, if you have a pimple closer to your eye, it may irritate your eye. I will continue to buy this product and keep it handy. It has helped make my face look 100% better and clear those embarrassing pimples!

I have found this to be one of the most effective acne products among the lower priced brands. It's really great because it doesn't just help your current breakouts, it also helps make your skin look nicer by fading any marks left behind by past breakouts. I slather this gel on my face at night before bed. My only problem with the Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-1 Fight and Fade Gel is that it doesn't work well under makeup. After washing my face in the morning I like to put an acne product on my face as a kind of barrier between my skin and my makeup. I have found that this gel peels and kind of flakes off when I'm applying foundation. Effectiveness This gel is very effective. It's definitely worth the low cost! Ease of Application Simple to apply. Convenience This gel is fine for night time, but because I can't wear it under makeup I have to buy a second acne cream for day time. For that reason I rated it fairly low in terms of convenience. Side Effects I have had no side effects from this product. Immediacy This gel works wonders overnight.

This product didn't help fade any acne scars and it didn't clear break outs. After applying this product for the first time to a blemish, there is a burning sensation. The next morning, the blemish shrunk slightly, but after using it in the following days, there was no effect. All in all, it was a disappointing product. Effectiveness After the first night, it shrunk my blemishes slightly, but it didn't clear any blemishes and it didn't treat any breakouts. Ease of Application It is a watery gel that tends to slide off skin, so it never stays where you apply it. Convenience After every application, I had to wash my hands because it bleached some of my clothes. Its didn't bleach that many fabrics, but it was still an inconvenience. Side Effects After using this product, I experienced a burning sensation on my blemishes, and it caused my skin to dry up to the point of flaking. Immediacy Although it reduced a blemish slightly over night, it didn't really clear up any breakouts and the blemish was still there. It was just slightly smaller.

I hold Nuetrogena to a fairly high standard, because the brand itself has always been one I could count on for great skin care and fast results. This gel treatment is pretty good, but less effective than I had hoped. Its price is pretty standard for Nuetrogena, but it doesn't deliver the way it should. It's really runny, and when you squeeze the bottle way more comes out than you wanted- which would make one think that since you end up applying more than necessary it would be guaranteed to work better... But I rarely have noticed any visible results when I put it on overnight. I only get small blemishes from time to time, and the next morning I see no reduction in redness or size, and the blemish seems like it still runs its natural 2 or 3 day course; with or without using Nuetrogena Rapid Clear 2 in 1 Fight and Fade treatment. The name itself is misleading in my opinion, since I have not seen anything to support it fighting or fading anything much.... Effectiveness Not much difference when using the gel as compared to not using it.. Ease of Application More comes out than expected- be careful when you squeeze the tube. Side Effects None experienced.

I am a class A skeptic. I normally do NOT put faith in over the counter products. I prefer home made remedies and natural herbs and oils and what not. Additionally, I have never in my life had an acne problem before my pregnancy began early this year. I suddenly broke out all over my face and even my chest. I had no idea what to do since I've never experienced this before. I drank tons of water and it just wasn't working to clear up my skin. My son's father brought home this amazing acne treatment one night and I fell in love all over again, but with the product. Not him lol. It's extremely easy to use and very effective. That night I used it on each pimple and left it on overnight. Woke up in the morning and they were all dried out and almost gone. You could barely see them and they left no scars!!!! This stuff works absolute miracles. Of course everyone's skin is different but I would say try this product before you disregard it. It's wonderful!

After struggling for years with acne problems well into my 20s when I never had acne problems as a teenager, I finally found Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2 in 1 Fight and Fade Gel. It turned out I had some hormone imbalances that were causing the acne problems, but I had a horrible time getting rid of the acne. This fight and fade gel got rid of the blemishes almost overnight. I put it on before I went to bed, and in the morning they had faded to the point that I had to look for them to know they were still there. I put more on in the morning, and by the end of the day they were completely gone! I was in shock! I can't believe how well this stuff works, but it did for me. I now use it as a spot treatment, but the fact that it got rid of the hormone imbalance blemishes means I'll be a customer for life. It does smell a little strong and can dry out the skin. Perhaps if you have sensitive skin, it could even burn. But I'll take an acidic odor of a huge zit any day! Especially when it gets rid of the zit in less than a day!

Ok so I sometimes have periods when I just breakout really bad for a few weeks. I get the horrible under the skin cystic acne and it seems to take forever to go away. Plus, it leaves me with horrible scars that take months to go away. So, I thought I'd try this product. First of all, the first time I used this stuff it burned the heck out of my skin. I used it on a pimple and the next morning I had a skin burn on the spot. Now, I'm thinking the skin was probably broken but wow it was awful. The spot looked 10 times worse and it took a week to peel and heal. Even now I still have a scar there from that. After a few weeks decided to try it again and once again it disappointed. After all day and all night I saw no noticeable difference in the pimples I used it on. I get better results from a simple acne spot treatment that I use by Panoxyl. I'm really upset with this product because it's expensive and for all that money I really expected it to work better. It doesn't do too great a job fading acne scars either. It's definitely not "rapid" that's for sure.

Although I am 34, I have occasionals acne breakouts due to changes in weather and hormones. I take good care of myself, have a good skin care routine, but sometimes it is not enough. Those pimples can be annoying, and easily get infected and get huge.  I am a teacher, so that can be a problem since I am always in front of dozens of students. And I tend to be self conscious. Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-1 fight & fade gel is the best solution I have found for when one of those pimples arises out of nowhere. I apply it twice a day, in the morning and before going to bed. In the morning, is light and transparent enough that I can actually apply makeup on top of it and it doesn't feel weird or look wrong. At night, I just apply it after taking off my makeup. In two days, there is usually no trace of the pimple. Also, because of its dual action, not only does it get read of the pimple but also of any redness and patches, leaving you with good looking skin. The best part of all is that it is very well priced, so you do not need to invest a fortune in it.
