My husband's doctor recommended Nicorrette gum as an aid for him to quit smoking. he put one piece of gum in his mouth, made an ugly face and spit it out. He said he would try cold turkey.  The taste of the gum made him sick on the stomach.  And the smell got to me. Plus it is way to expensive.

This product seemed to work fine for me.. Down fall though was I first started chewing and it was great.. i barely smoked, but it seemed the longer I chewed the gum the more often I be3gan craving a cigarette. I never oficially quit with this product. Just a thought. If you had a strong determination to quit this product would be great, but if you aren't truly ready to quit I would go with a stronger product.

All of the Nicorette Coated gums are great! Cinnamon surge happens to be my favorite. If you're thinking about quitting this is one of the best ways. I've been smoke free for 10 months and it's been a breeze with my Nicorette. Give it a try and maybe you'll be smoke free too.

Quitting smoking?  Without a doctor's prescription I would normally suggest Nicorette Cinnamon Surge, but after trying it several times, I would urge you to keep away from it.  It is one of Nicorette's coated gums, meaning it has a hard coating similar to a Chicklet.  It adds flavor to its gum to help you quit smoking.  However, after trying this flavor several times, alternating it with other Nicorette coated gums, I had to stop using it.  Granted, it does have a cinnamin flavor, but it is so strong that it left my mouth burning.  Sometimes I had to remove the gum because it hurt so much.  I found the pieces of Nicorette Cinnamon varied in strength from one piece to another.  Some pieces were delicious, but others appeared so strong that they not only left my mouth burning, but the inside of my cheeks blistered and burning, which made eating any spiced or salted food unbearable.  Therefore, I suggest you don't buy Nicorette Cinnamon gum to help you quit smoking.  Nicorette offers several other brands to help you in your endeavors to quit smoking.

When I stopped smoking this time, I wanted a little help. I had quit cold turkey once before for two and a half years, but, felt like it would be even harder this time. So, I decided to try the Nicorette 2 milligram Cinnamon Surge Gum. This stuff is great!  It has a shell like covering, unlike other non smoking gums I have sampled.  It really is a surge of cinnamon, and, it doesn't stick to dentures!  This gum tastes like any other cinnamon gum, maybe even stronger. What I really like about this is that you can chew on a piece forever. It retains its flavor for a very long time, it freshens your breath, and makes your mouth feel clean.  I really prefer lozengers, but, this gum stays with you for a much longer time, therefore, keeping the urges away for a longer period of time.  Also, I felt like I was getting addicted to the lozengers.  I may becoome addicted to these also. I haven't been chewing them for long, but, they do the job. They take the smoking crvings away.

This is not your parents nicotine replacement gum. Nicorette Cinnamon Surge is really very tasty. I started out with a free sample box and began to note that it curbed my desire to smoke and it didnt taste like nicotine. The product still has a tiny bite but you can't have everything. After my intial trial I followed up with another sample kit, followed the program and registered on the site. Usually, im not the kind to follow a program but this one was rather easy and not very intrusive. Nicorette Cinnamon Surge really does work and taste good.
