I think this blender is just fabulous! But that goes without saying from it's trusted brand. It's very durable and the pitcher is a perfect size and easy to clean! I'm not sure if it's suppose to be dishwasher safe but I always put the pitcher in my dishwasher to clean and have never had an issue. It blends excellent and fast! The only con I will admit is that the top of the ninja, (where you push down on to make it blend), the piece in the center of it that attaches to the blades gets food and/or liquid stuck in it and it's very hard to clean the dried up food liquid out. Brut otherwise, this blender is awesome and if you haven't, you must try a Ninja!

In our tests the Ninja excelled at a number of tasks. It whipped up a mean smoothie, chopped onions evenly, and even crushed a pitcher full of ice into a pile of fluffy snow. It ground coffee beans evenly, although not finely, and made a consistent, though somewhat grainy, frozen margarita. It could be used to mix small batches of pizza dough in less than a minute and even filled in for a stand mixer to mix cookie dough. The Bad: While the Ninja chopped onions evenly, it struggled to make salsa, pulverizing tomatoes and leaving the other ingredients nearly untouched. It could blend whole fruits and vegetables, but it couldn't extract juice, and so it doesn't replace a juice extractor. Fruit, ice, and dairy could be blended to create a sweet frozen mixture, but not a true ice cream. We were surprised to see that the included cookbook gives recipes in which you combine ingredients in the Ninja and are then instructed to add the mixture to a separate ice cream maker. While the Ninja could mix a small batch of cookie dough, it needed frequent scraping and was hard to access.

This product has been in use for a few years in my home. We have made everything from baby food to margaritas. The moment I was most impressed was when I whipped egg whites in under 15 seconds. I cannot say enough how simple this item makes food prep. The downside is that the blender gets food trapped inside the thread where it tightens, it is hard to hand wash. But it is such a great product that this is forgivable and worth the extra time to clean every now and then when the food gets trapped in there.

After purchasing this I began using it almost daily, using it for smoothies, and spreads, to grinding nuts to make nut butters. The Ninja Kitchen System Pulse Blender worked very well for all of these purposes, and was very easy to clean. It worked very well in making cookie dough and mixed the ingredients fully, without overworking. The price was reasonable and I was surprised at the quality of the blender. It was small enough to store under my sink in regards to height, but had a large enough capacity to make large batches in. It was easy to use, and functioned well regardless of the use, functioning as a food processor as well. I would highly recommend this blender to anyone looking for a well priced blender for frequent use.

I love the ninja brand, their products last forever and have little complications. My only complaint is that they are not as powerful as I would like. For instance, this one in particular does not blend kale and spinach that well for smoothies, there are still chunks in my smoothies and no matter how long I blend it, it stays chunky. Other than that I love it.
