I do not have bad acne but I get a few breakout spots every now and then so I try to prevent them with face washes. I am always trying new products to take care of my skin and heard such great things about Noxema that I decided to try it out. It was a huge mistake. The first time I used it I did not have any breakouts. When I woke up the morning after using it, I did. I figured it was just because I was going to breakout anyway and tried the Noxema again. Within a few days my face looked horrible. It broke me out so bad! I guess it was just too harsh for my skin. I had to rate Noxema face wash so low because it worked terribly for me. However I did love the cooling effect it gave my face after using it. I wouldn't personally recommend Noxema to anyone, but everyones skin is different and products can work differently for them. Effectiveness Horrible! Not only did it not rid any of my breakout spots, it gave me more. Actually more than I've ever had at once. Ease of Application Super easy to apply like most face washes. Just of course avoid eye area! Convenience It is easy to use and does not take long, so it's convenient. Side Effects Too many side effects for me. Brokeout face, redness, and dryness. Immediacy It never worked properly for me.

I have always loved Noxzema. My husband and I both still currently use it even though we aren't teenagers anymore. I don't use it for acne purposes. But it is a product that is suppose to clear acne. My husband uses it for acne and he likes it. I love the smell and the feel of Noxzema and your face feels super clean after you wash it. Also, it kind of clears my airways like a vapor rub would to. So first thing in the morning this facial cleaner is great. Effectiveness I never noticed a change in my pimples. But my husband likes it enough to use it for his acne. He still have a bit of acne though even with daily use of this product. We mainly use It to clean our faces daily Ease of Application I love washing my face with this stuff. It may be just as easy to use as any cream facial cleanser but it is so refreshing to use I like it more. Convenience You can find this product to buy pretty much anywhere. and its easy to carry. For travel this is a great product because it can't spill like products in tubes often do. Side Effects I've never noticed any bad side effects from this product.

One of my top recommended brands. Effectiveness I really love this brand. I had a really bad break out after using some crappy make up and used this wash for a week just once a day. After the week was gone so was my break out. This is a great every day use acne treatment. It may sting a little bit but after a while it actually starts to feel tingly and refreshing once the main junk is out of your face. I also noticed for my skin type which is a medium blend it helped fade my old acne scars. Not sure if this was just a side bonus for me or if this happens for everyone but either way I love it. I find it works best to use it once at night before bed and then in the morning I rinse my face with warm water and a wash cloth. Twice a day for me would be a little bit much but if you're a first time user I would start off with two times daily and gradually reduce to once daily after you see adequate results in your acne.

Noxema was one of the very first facial cleaners I tried as a teenager. I only used it because that was the cleanser everyone I knew was using. Since then I have tried many other cleansers, and recently I gave Noxema another try. I am now reminded why I quit using this product years ago. Effectiveness The eucalyptus in this cleanser is so overpowering, it is hard to tell if your skin is really clean or not. The strength of the eucalyptus is like a brutal assault on my nose. My skin always tingles a bit after using this product. It is a bit too much for my senses. While it might be great for a teenager, I do not like it as an adult. I would not recommend this product to anyone unless they had a bad cold and needed help clearing out their sinuses. Ease of Application It is very easy to use this product. It comes in a tub so you will scoop it out with your fingers. I always feel like I am using too much of the product when doing this. Convenience Convenience is not much of an issue when using this facial cleanser. The container is a tub so I do not see this as very convenient. I prefer a pump container. Side Effects The only side effects I can see from using this product are tingly skin. My skin also feels dried out after using this and I need a moisturizer afterwards.

Noxema is THE only face wash I use. It's great to apply it in the morning or at night. The menthol in the cream helps minimize pores. When Noxema is used properly(make sure you massage it in) it's great at preventing and treating mild to moderate acne. It can help refresh you and wake you up in the morning or at night it can help you relax and pamper yourself. When I use this product I let it sit for a good fifteen minutes before hopping in a nice hot shower. It's not really an on the go kind of cream but it's worth the time to use it. Effectiveness Noxema does an excellent job preventing and treating mild to moderate acne. Ease of Application Remember! Noxema works best if you massage it in. It goes on smooth! Convenience Noxema is convenient if you have the time to put into it. I let it sit for 15 minutes before washing off. Side Effects There should be no side effects if you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. However, do not let it sit too long because it can cause swelling if left on for more than an hour. Immediacy Using Noxema I saw results in about one week of use.

The Noxzema face wash was a huge disappointment for me. After trying the product, my face was so dried out that it hurt to even talk. Effectiveness I will never buy this face wash again. I thought it was going to make my face pimple free but it did the complete opposite by leaving my face a dry mess. Ease of Application It wasn't hard at all to apply to my face but it left my face stinging hours after washing it all off my face. Convenience It was convenient to use this product if only it would have worked like it said it was suppose to. Maybe then I would have been a satisfied customer. Side Effects I had a very bad side effect to this medicine. My face was so dry the next day it hurt to talk. I will never try another Noxzema product again. Immediacy I am not really sure what that means but this wash was a huge let down to me I hope it works good for others but I have learned my lesson about Noxzema.

Our family used this product and it jacked us all up. It was horrible. I didn't have that bad of acne, just wanted to limit what little I did have. After 1 week of using this product we all had breakouts all over our faces. They were huge almost cystic. Our family physician said it was the facial regimen we were using. I love how fresh the product makes you and I love the smell. It really does feel refreshing. Maybe it was just our family that had a bad reaction, I don't know. Effectiveness We did not find this product very effective at all. In gave everyone in our family cystic acne. We were very disappointed and really expected more. Side Effects We ended up with worse acne than before we began to use this product. I really expect this to happen. If anything I thought it would severely dry us out. Neither one of us have ever had sensitive skin. I've always been able to use just about anything. What a shame.

Noxema has been around for ages, and I expect great results from any product that has lasted that long. It stands to reason (at least in my mind) that if a brand doesn't work well, it won't stay on the market for decades. Unfortunately, I haven't found this to be the case with Noxema Face Wash. I'll start with the positives: I love the way this face wash feels on my face. It feels cool and fresh while you're using it. Almost a menthol type sensation, like it's really opening up your pores and getting in there to clean oils and dirt out of your face. It's a nice way to wake up I the morning, the sensation really does bring you out of a sleepy state nicely. It also smells great. The scent isn't overpowering but it smells like it feels, kind of fresh and cool. However, the negatives really outweigh the positives in my opinion. For all the fresh smells and feelings, I don't think this face wash really gets down deep into your pores because I it didn't do anything to help clear my face. The best I can figure is that they have the opening of the pores down, but then the actual acne medication in the face wash falls flat removing oils and dirt. Ease of Application This is no harder to apply than any other face wash, but watch out for your eyes. The same cooling feeling that is so nice on your face burns the heck out of your eyes! Side Effects This did not irritate my face at all.

I have tried every drug store option available and to date nothing has worked as well as noxzema. It is cost effective, doesn't dry skin, has a nice smell, and highly effective. I liked the texture and how it doesn't just run off your face while you are trying to get it to lather. I also liked how thick it was because again it doesn't just run off the face. It has a really clean after feeling. it has a cooling feeling to it which is part of what makes it feel overall clean. it also lasted a lot longer than other more expensive and less effective products. I feel like with this particular product none of it goes to waste as you see in other products. it doesn't run right out of the bottle too fast like you see from other products. it was packaged much better than other products. It was also easier to find, easier to use, and overall just a much simpler product to use. I instantly noticed oil and shine right off the bat has improved, current acne began to disappear and new acne was not appearing. My skin looked healthier like it had a glow to it without the oil shine

Noxzema offers many products in their line and I have purchased quite a few of them. Noxzema is just one of those brands that I trust and have had great results from. Starting using Noxzema when I was a teen and I still use today. I generally mix with other facial products for my daily regimen to get the best effects. Noxzema is great at removing makeup and moisturizing your skin but for my skin in particular I have to follow up with products like Sea Breeze to remove all oils from my skin. I have found over the years that Noxzema facial soap works great and can even work well when combined with the Noxzema cream. I usually use the cream as a mask. I apply thickly to my face and let it dry then wash with the facial soap for acne. I am in my thirties and still suffer from acne and this product does not irritate my skin. Effectiveness Works great by itself or when combined with other Noxzema products. Ease of Application Very easy to use Convenience You can take with you when traveling or even to work to wash your face on those stressful days that can cause an outbreak. Side Effects I have not had any side effects from this acne product at all. Immediacy I usually get a clearup quickly when I have an outbreak and treat with Noxzema acne wash.
