I was looking for a smaller version of a traditional blender with the different settings so you could select what you want it to do. This makes wonderful smoothies, but that's it.

I absolutely love this thing. It pulverized everything i put in there. From frozen fruit and ice cubes to a tomato thats super hot! The only thing i don't like is the top... For the cup.

I use my Ninja mostly for smoothies with lots of ice and fruit. My only issue is when I blend berries, the smoothies are quite seedy and I don't like to drink them that way. I haven't found a blender yet that will chop the seeds, but this works great for everything else.

I have been using ninja blenders for years. I love the newer models with the to-go cups! I can grab my protein shake and head out the door with minimal cleaning.
