This face wash works really well. I was out of my typical facial wash, so I decided to borrow my sons, Oxy Maximum Face Wash. I used it for several days and was so pleased with it, I bought my own bottle. Since then I have tried using other brands and found myself very disappointed, now the only disappointment I have is when the store is out. This facial wash is worth going to the next store to purchase. I will not buy anything else. Effectiveness This face wash is very effective. It not only went to work on the breakout I already had, but it prevented more pimples from appearing. It doesn't get much better than that. Ease of Application Easy to use. Side Effects No side effects from this face wash at all. It didn't make my skin feel tight or dry. Immediacy Product works quickly. I only used Oxy Maximum for three days and it definitely made an improvement in my skin.

This face wash seems to work really well. I receive a lot of samples and I will take them on trips with me so that I don't have to pack my full size products. I recently took a sample packet of this Oxy Maximum Face Wash. The sample was large enough for me to use it for the few days I was away from home. It worked well enough that I will probably buy a bottle of this face wash when my current bottle runs out. Effectiveness This face wash was very effective. It not only went to work on the breakout I already had, but it didn't cause more pimple to crop up either. It doesn't get much better than that. Ease of Application This is as easy to apply as any other face wash. Convenience This is no less convenient than any other face wash. Side Effects I had no ill effects from this face wash at all. It didn't make my skin feel tight or dry. Immediacy This seemed to work very quickly. I only used Oxy Maximum for three days and it definitely made an improvement in my skin.

This is definitely one of my favorite products. It has a maximum strength acne medication in it. It helped my acne right away. I noticed drastic changes in as little as a week and I was only using this product once a day. Effectiveness Works like a miracle. I have tried so many different face washes and treatments. This is like the all in one. Did not need another spot treatment or anything. Ease of Application Apply in circular motion over whole face and then rinse. Convenience The cream base makes it easy to apply whether in the shower or right before bed. Side Effects I did not experience any side effects. BUT due to the amount of acne medication in it, can cause skin irritation and dryness. Immediacy Results within a week!!

I used oxy as a teen because it had great reviews and was relatively cheap as far as acne face wash goes. I started using again on my face. I get a breakout every couple of weeks and my skin is never 100% clear. My breakouts are barely noticeable and is not really that bad. I used to use this twice a day. Once while i showered and once before bed but it was too harsh on my skin and dryed it out pretty bad. Once a day works well enough for me. It kept breakouts from getting bad but my skin did break out like normal. I prefer a face wash with beads as it makes me feel like my skin is getting cleaner. Oxy Maximum is worth tue money though if you don't over do it with using too much. Effectiveness Cleans skin and helps prevent new acne from forming. Ease of Application This is a bit runny but easy to cleanse skin without making a mess. Convenience Has a flip top which is easier than a top you have to twist off completely. Side Effects Can cause dryness and irritation if used a lot. Immediacy Helped heal breakouts within a couple washes.

I have been using this product two times a day for about two years. I originally started using the product out of desperation due to the ineffectiveness of so many other products. I was familiar with using benzoyl peroxide products and figured I would give this product a try. It has helped keep my skin clear for the time I have been using it and each time I have stopped using it for another product a nasty breakout has coincided. It does dry out your face especially during the winter. But any product that has benzoyl peroxide you should really expect to use a moisturizer with. For what the product is and the price point it is offered at, it is great and does what is expected. This product is not an end all, be all for acne but is a great way to help reduce breakouts. If you are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide it may cause a little redness. It did me for a week or so when I began using it but that quickly went away and I have really been happy with this product. It creates a great lather when washing my face and you don't have to use a whole lot of it.

Holy moly! This stuff is pretty aggressive. I suffer from breakouts a few times a month and they get pretty frustrating, so I decided to pick OXY Maximum Face Wash up because I wanted the pimples to go away ASAP. After washing my face, I noticed it was extremely dry. After a few days of using this product, my skin started to peel from the dryness. It did make those pimples go away, but left me with ugly, flaking, skin! Since then, I still use it for my breakouts, but only at night before I go to sleep. In the morning I use a different face wash. This has pretty much curbed the dryness effect. Definitely give this face wash a test run first on your skin to make sure it doesn't irritate it like it did to me. Effectiveness Definitely will get rid of your pimples! Ease of Application Lather on, rinse off! Convenience Very convenient, one step process. Side Effects This face wash can be extremely drying Immediacy Pimples started drying up overnight.. In about 3 days they were gone.

i suffer from oily skin and i get blackheads more than any other breakout. This product started working for me within the first week. i had tried everything and it seemed like it would for for awhile then stop working. Some products even made things worse for me. Then i tried a sample of this product and i still use it. The face wash and blemish cream both have changed my face for the better. I didnt like the pads though. Try this, its amazing. Effectiveness starts working in the first week and i love it. Convenience its not as convenient as wiping the ready to use pads over your face (which does not work as well as the face wash), but its still pretty easy to squirt it in your hand and wash your face. Side Effects if you dont have oily skin, you could end up needing a moisturizer.

This stuff is real deal, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your needs. I would normally not choose such a strong formula but my boyfriend picked it up for me when I sent him shopping with a list. That said, I break out the Oxy when my skin is really acting up (or if I've failed to wash to it for an extended amount of time - gross, I know!), but this Oxy does the job. It has 10% of benzoil peroxide whereas other lines considered to be pretty hardcore, like Proactiv, only have 2% benzoil peroxide - just to give you an idea. It can be rather drying, but effective. Effectiveness This stuff works well, maybe too well. Be sure that you plan to follow it with some moisturizer, especially if you don't have bonafide acne. Ease of Application Wet face, gently scrub product around and rinse. Do beware, this stuff has a high percentage of benzoil peroxide and it will bleach your colored towels and any other fabric it comes in contact with - use only with white linens! Convenience I keep my Oxy in my shower so I can use it when I bathe - can't get much easier than that. Side Effects This Oxy can be very drying, so I'd recommend using it occasionally (like a couple of times a week or only when you have skin problems). Immediacy This is one wash you will see some results immediately, even if the result is your skin flaking, but you will know that it is doing something once you use it.

As an adult with acne, I have tried many many types of face washes, but none stand up to this one. The key is the benzoyl peroxide- a product that used to be common but is hard to find these days. If you are looking for a good alternative to ProActiv, this is it! Side Effects Can bleach clothing/sheets and towels.

I was all of a sudden breaking out, so I thought I'd purchase this Oxy product because it was a maximum cleanser and oxy works well for acne. Well it dries out my skin and I am still breaking out and sometimes even worse then I was. I was a bit disappointed in the purchase, but hoping it will change and start working..
