So, yes - I am an over preparer! We didn't use the towelletes on our first trip, but they were still in the beach bag for a later trip. I can not explain how much of a lifesaver these wipes were!! I guess the temperature had changed slightly during the time we were last there and the bugs were pretty bad. We bought some tiki torches at the camp store and used the wipes which are super handy. I felt like I was really getting the coverage to keep the bugs away. They did not leave me feeling sticky. The scent was not over powering, but they still did the job! The towelletes worked great and will always keep them in the camper or beach bag from now on!!

Mosquitoes are a problem almost everywhere and they are particularly bad when you live in a warmer climate like I do. But there are plenty of ways to protect yourself and one of them is Off Deep Woods Insect Repellent Towelettes. Most everyone has used the spray, but this version utilizes a towlette instead, with the active ingredient DEET soaked into the moist towellette. All that is necessary is to take a towelette out of the package and spread it on exposed skin. The product gets to work immediately to repel mosquitoes and other insects. We have mosquito problems where I live and we reach for Off! more than any other product. We tend to prefer the spray varieties, but I have used other versions and the towelletes are one example. They work about as well as the spray and they repel insects effectively. Since there is no spray, the toxic insect repellent is kept away from the eyes, nose, and mouth, making it a little safer. Off Deep Woods Insect Repellent Towelettes are good for controlling mosquito bites, but the one problem I have with them is the lack of convenience. They are towelettes, so they cannot be applied quickly like a spray. You have to take a small towellette and wipe it across your skin, making sure to coat every exposed inch. This takes more time, but it also better ensures that you cover all parts of the skin, like the face and other areas that are often neglected when using spray. Bottom Line Viewpoint: My bottom line with Off Deep Woods Insect Repellent Towelettes is that it is an effective product for controlling mosquitoes and other biting insects, but it could be a pain for those who don't have time to spread the towelette across the skin. I don't use this version very often and still prefer spray, but I can see how towelettes may be useful and even preferred by some. Effectiveness This product does work at keeping insects away. Ease of Application It takes time to apply. Scent Scent is okay, but not the greatest.
