I was lucky enough to receive a free sample of Olay Intensives Smooth Skin Exfoliating Scrub. The size I have is 5 fluid ounce (14.7 ml.). I cleanse my face every evening, and wash it in the mornings. However, once a week I like to give it a deeper treatment, and this is where Olay comes in. I wet my face, and squeezed out a tiny amount of the exfoliating scrub. I rubbed it into my skin, making sure I didn't get too close to my eye area. I did this in a circular movement. I could feel the tiny micro beads, that were slightly gritty. I left it on for a few minutes, and then rinsed it with warm water. My face felt clean, and very slightly dry. This happens with all exfoliating products, so used a good quality moisturizer, before heading to bed. This can be used on a daily basis, but on the whole I have good skin, so find once a week works for me. Effectiveness My skin feels clean, and fresh. Ease of Application Just massage it into the skin, avoiding the eye area. Scent Light fragrance.

I used to love those face scrubs you could buy that smelled like medicine and made your skin tingle. I was convinced they were getting in your skin and killing all the bacteria that festered until it ruined your first date in the form of a nasty little raging, angry, red third wheel. Perhaps they do but they also seem to damage your skin and make it look like you have facial dandruff. Not ideal. Really not ideal. The thing I love about this Olay product is that it is gentle, soft, and mild and yet does a really bang up job of keeping your skin nice, smooth, and clear. I always feel like my face is clean without losing the soft well-moisturized feel. Because it is a scrub you are still going to lose moisture (you do any time you put water and or soap on your skin) so you still may need a moisturizer but it is far less harsh than those chemical cleaners that burn and tingle. Overall: this is a great product that lasts a long time. It is a little pricey but you use such a small amount that it can last over six months. It is worth the money.
