I have to chuckle about this toothbrush. I have been using it for 10 years and it is still going strong. I have taken it on vacations, used it while in the hospital, use it at home, accidentally submerged it in water, dropped it on the floor, and it is still going strong. The handle never gets hot and its charges up super fast. It still has a fast speed and the brush heads are easy to get. I'm sure the speed could be faster but it does a good job. I always have a good check-up at the dentist and have almost no plaque. The unit sits on top of my bathroom counter and I keep it plugged in. I have never had any issues with power, it not charging, or the brush heads not moving. The unit is completely sealed to keep out debris and liquid. It fits into my hand easily and it has a rubber grip so it doesn't slip. If you are looking for a very durable electric toothbrush, this is it. I almost wish it would stop working so I can try a new one!

I really like my Oral-B electric toothbrush. I have had it for about three years now, and it is a great product. It has multiple types of heads that you can put on and change out, that come in many different shapes. There is truly one for everyone. My children, who are two and three each have their own head, and love to brush their teeth with this. I also love how long this toothbrush holds a charge. I hate to leave things plugged in all the time, so I let it charge for an hour, then the charge lasts about two weeks, even with four people brushing their teeth two to three times a day each. It's awesome! My biggest complaint about this toothbrush is that if you push to hard against your teeth it will stop until you release the pressure. It is great for the kids, but it makes me crazy, as I like to feel as though I am really scrubbing. I am sure that the auto stop is a great feature for my teeth, but I don't like it. The toothbrush has taken many falls at the hands of my children and still works just like when it was new. I would recommend this toothbrush!

I used to have problem with my gum lines due to brushing my teeth too hard with the manual brush since I never felt my teeth were clean enough. My gum lines would bleed a little every time I brushed my teeth. This tooth brushing habit also created a cut (about 0.1 mm deep) on my teeth right along the gum lines which made my teeth very sensitive to cold drink as well as sour food/fruits. Then I found out about Braun/Oral-B electric toothbrush. Got one about 10 years ago and was amazed by the way it make my teeth feel. They feel so smooth like I never had before with my manual brush, yet with very gentle pressure on the teeth. This really help my teeth from building up plaque, thus less dentist teeth cleaning required. I never had any more teeth/gum bleeding again ever since. It was so good that I convinced my family to try them and now we all hooked on Braun/Oral-B tooth brushes. I do a lot of traveling due to my work but I would never go without this electric toothbrush. The normal battery life is about 5-7 days after a full charge with 2 brushings each day. The battery is Ni-MH and according to the manual they do not build up memory. That means you can recharge them anytime or even leave them on the charger at all time and do not reduce battery life at any significant rate. They do recommend to fully exhaust the battery one in a while and fully recharge again to keep the battery life at its best. I burned my charger, however, when I was traveling outside of the country, where they only had 240V. Because of that, I bought a new set of Braun/Oral-B toothbrush. Even though the look of it has changed after a few years, they can still use the same charger. Nowadays the charger is very compact and convenient for taking it along on a trip so you don't have to worry about your brush's battery gone dead. I only wish that they would sell the charger separately as well for those who want to buy an extra charger for replacement or as a spare one. I also wish that they make the charger dual voltage since toothbrush is a personal item which would follow you to all around the world where it can be other than 120V. For this reason I had to buy another single brush set, which I don't use (yet) just to get the charger after I burned my second charger abroad again. The brush price now can be very reasonable, however the replacement brush heads are expensive. Wal-Mart brand does make the replacement heads for a lower price without much different in quality compared to the original ones. Those, however, are a little tighter when you insert it to the brush (which is not that big of a deal) and also too big to fit in nicely on the Oral-B case. I wish that they would lower the price for the heads but probably that is not going to happen. :-( Overall I'm happy with this electric brush and would never go back to manual brush (unless I burn another charger again).

The Oral-B Professional Care Toothbrush is a lifesaver! I have rather poor oral health, mainly because of genetics and somewhat because nobody taught me the right way to brush as a young kid. Recently, my oral hygienist recommended the Oral-B automatic toothbrush saying that it will do some of the brushing job for me...and boy was she right! My gums have never looked and felt healthier and have stopped bleeding every time I floss. Ever since I started using this toothbrush, I have had to visit my dentist fewer times for teeth cleaning (I now return every 4 months as opposed to years to going back every 3 months!). Ever since using this brush, I have not noticed a single day of stale breath or that sensation of "not brushed" teeth. I could not be happier about a toothbrush than I am with this one and would highly recommend it to anybody, especially those struggling with gum, teeth and stale breath issues.

The Oral-B professional care toothbrush 7400 is really great for that extra clean feel on days that it may feel like your regular manual toothbrush just is not cutting it. I've tried other electric toothbrushes in the past, but I really like how the brush bristles are shaped so I know if I rather just focus on each individual tooth or just do circular motions over my teeth. Plus this toothbrush is really convenient when you're in a rush in the morning and you can't focus on brushing as much as you would like to. Plus I really like how it comes with a charger to charge the toothbrush power, so no need to toss out old batteries. Overall I really like this toothbrush and it gives the confidence that my teeth are thoroughly clean, however it's a bit expensive. But don't worry, there's reasonable coupons for this toothbrush. If you're looking for a reliable electric toothbrush I would recommend it.

Since switching from a manual to an electric toothbrush, I have noticed a huge difference in the cleanliness of my teeth. The Oral-B Professional Care Toothbrush 7400 makes me feel like I just left the dentist's office every time I brush my teeth! I was skeptical at first because the head of the brush is so small. I'm used to giant toothbrushes to ensure that my entire tooth gets brushed. But what I didn't realize was that my bigger toothbrushes weren't actually covering the whole area of my tooth. In fact, they were often missing more than they were hitting due to their bulkiness. Bigger doesn't always mean better! The ProfessionalCare is precise in its motion and reminds me of the device that my dentist uses to polish my teeth. It gently loosens and removes plaque from my teeth before it can harden into tartar. The vibrations also massage my gums and enhance blood flow. It feels great at the same time. Performance/Cleaning Better than Phillips Sonicare! Durability No complaints so far.

This toothbrush brand is superior to all others . The price is a bit high but that is the only negative to it . It is worth the price though . The toothbrush deep cleans and does not hurt you while doing it . The bristles are extra soft and the speed is perfect for kids and adults . Every member of our family has one and we all are satisfied and continue to buy this brand of electronic brush . We replace ours every year , they do last a long time and all you have to do is trade the top part with new brushes. Performance/Cleaning This toothbrush performs great . If you know how to brush right and take your time you will be satisfied . This type is for people who value hygiene . It keeps your mouth cleaner than a normal toothbrush and is a lot faster . Of course you will still need to flow because it does not remove what is in between your teeth just on the top parts . Durability This type of toothbrush lasts a very long time . We only replace ours every year because it is recommended but not necessary . The brushes being replaced are enough although a bit pricey . When you first purchase it already comes equipped with the brushes .

I really enjoy my Oral B Professional toothbrush. I do not have anything negative to say about it. It has really helped my oral hygiene and makes my teeth feel very clean and my mouth feel healthy. The toothbrush is easy to use and has lasted longer than I anticipated. Performance/Cleaning I LOVE my Oral B professional toothbrush. I have a history of very poor teeth and have traditionally used a 'regular' toothbrush but always have had a lot of cavities at each dentist check up. Since I have started using the Oral B toothbrush, I still do have some decay but not nearly as much as I had when I only used a standard toothbrush. Durability My Oral B toothbrush has been very durable and lasted longer than I anticipated. I was leary at first to spend more than a 'regular' toothbrush price on a professional toothbrush, but I am happy with how long it has lasted and the results I have gotten since when I began using it.

I always thought that I was doing a good job when it came to caring for my teeth until a family member purchased the Oral B Professional Care Toothbrush 7400 for me as a gift. I actually preferred the round head over the traditional shaped toothbrushes, while I was brushing my teeth felt so smooth and polished. I decided to then buy one for my husband and he made a fuss over having an electric toothbrush and wasting money one them, but now he will not let me buy any other kind for him. The toothbrush is perfectly designed to get to all the hard to reach areas of my mouth. I love that the brush stands up easily on it's own and I can control the speed that I desire each time. This product is very easy to use and feels durable to last for months. It is affordable and I recommend others should try it out themselves. I refuse to go back to traditional toothbrushes now, my teeth have never looked better in pictures. Performance/Cleaning Does a great job at providing a thorough cleaning and maintaining fresh breath all day long. Durability Feels very durable, it will probably last for a long time. I had mine for four months and decided to buy new ones just because I don't keep toothbrushes very long

I really enjoy using this toothbrush. It leaves my mouth feeling super polished and cleanThe toothbrush holds a charge really well I can use it two times a day for 2 or 3 days before I need to recharge it. Its nice and lightweight so I think I may be brushing lnger than before. Its comfortable to hold and the head is small enough for even kids mouths. It was very reasonably priced at 44.00 at a local close out store.
