This shampoo does everything it says it will do, and it does everything you expect and want a shampoo to do. I love this shampoo and I would recommend this to any one that wants silky smooth hair. Effectiveness It does exactly what it says it will do! This stuff left my hair feeling silky smooth. My hair is well down to my waist, and I have dyed my hair just about every color you can (As you can imagine this has left my hair with some significant damage). This shampoo made my hair feel like I never dyed it before, and it made it super soft, smooth, and silky. Scent I love, love, love this scent! It smells really similar (To me at least) to Bath and Body Works Vanilla and Warm Sugar body spray. The smell lingers in my hair well after I have washed out the shampoo, and I can couple it with just about any scent of perfume without having the two smells compete. The vanilla scent really compliments my shampoo well which I adore.

This Organix Soft & Silky Vanilla Silk Shampoo is actually sulfate-free, which is better for your hair, since sulfates are what clean your hair but can be very harsh on your strands and deplete them of all moisture. Even though there is no sulfate (which helps a shampoo sud up), this shampoo lathered up quite nicely and I used the normal amount I would use with a normal shampoo. It worked gently on my (fine) hair and used in conjunction with the conditioner, made my hair silky soft and smooth. My hair felt very clean, and there was much less frizz in my hair after I blow dried it. The texture is really great, thick and creamy, just the way I like it. The scent is another detail that makes this shampoo a great product: you can smell the Tahitian Vanilla bean and it also has a bit of an underlying nutty smell as well. The only mild negative I would give this product is the fact that the scent does not linger in your hair, which is something I like. Overall this is a great shampoo that will keep your hair clean and soft and has a fabulous scent.

Organix has one of my favorite brands of Shampoos and Conditioners. I think I have tried all of the different scents they have available. One that I really liked was the Organix Soft & Silky Vanilla Silk Shampoo. I have very long, thick hair, so I find myself looking for shampoos that will keep my hair manageable and shiny while also keeping my hair clean. Organix does just that. My hair stays clean all day long when I use this shampoo, and it does not get oily at all. It's also safe enough to use on my color-treated hair. It doesn't make my color fade or look dull at all. It lathers really well, which is always important for me when I get a shampoo. This shampoo also smells AMAZING! It really smells like a nice vanilla scent. It's not too overhelming of a scent. Effectiveness This shampoo keeps my hair clean all day long and it also makes it look really healthy and shiny. Scent This shampoo smells really good, and it keeps my hair smelling great all day long.

I really enjoyed using this shampoo because it made my hair smell so marvelous! I really enjoy trying new products. When I was on vacation and needed to pick up a shampoo for the trip I came across this and bought it! I wasn't familiar with the brand in fact I had never even hear the name. I was drawn to this product because of the beautiful packaging and the big words on the bottle Vanilla silk. It just sounded so luxurious like a high end shampoo. It was an excellent price and so I bought it. This shampoo lathers really nicely which is important to me. I feel like I can tell I got everything nice and clean with a good lather. It smelled magnificent and the scent lasted in my hair for quite some time. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about was I felt it weighed my hair down a bit. It was a little difficult to get all of this product perfectly washed out so when I went to style it it left my hair looking a little oily.

I love the Organix line, but this one is my favorite for myself. I have really thick curly hair and it is always dry and frizzy. I ran across this shampoo during a buy one get one sale and bought both shampoo and conditioner. This left my hair feeling silky soft,less frizzy and the smell is delish. The price is really good for this product and is in line with other brands. I have not ever had a hair care line that left my hair smelling so good. It also felt very clean and moisturized. I deal with frizz all the time living in Florida and this shampoo has really cut a lot of that out for me.The shampoo is very thick and you really do only need a quarter size for even long hair. I do not recommend it for kids under 4 since itisso thick. It can be found in walmart target walgreens and cvs I know for sure. Again I love the smell and its almost an added bonus how great it does for my curls. Scent amazing smells

ugh! I was so excited to try out this product after all the reviews and how convincing the bottle was. I bought both shampoo and conditioner at my local target for about 7 bucks each and went home and showered. It left my hair so dried out with a stray like texture. It was like running down my fingers through stray! For some reason I decided do try it again another day hoping it would have some different effect and that was dumb! Never again will I buy this product. It did the opposite of what it said on the bottle. so disappointed

One of the less outrageous but still interesting Organix options is **Organix Vanilla Silk Shampoo.** **Shampoo Commentary:** Organix Vanilla Silk Shampoo is a very thick, heavy shampoo that features the scents of vanilla and soap- like one would expect. The shampoo has powerful cleaners and it takes only a small amount to clean the hair and scrub the scalp to new levels of clean. Organix Vanilla Silk Shampoo is a pleasant smelling shampoo. It lacks the rousing scent common to other Organix products, but the smell is nice and since it is vanilla, it should be acceptable to all. It takes some effort to rinse it completely clean, but it isn't too bad and most will find it easy to use. As for the cleaning ability, Organix Vanilla Silk Shampoo is easily above the average. It is a heavy shampoo and it works up a good lather with little effort. The shampoo itself is almost like detergent. It is good at scrubbing away dirt and oil, but it is also a tad harsh and should not be used by those with delicate scalps. **Bottom- Line Viewpoint:** Organix Vanilla Silk Shampoo is a very good Organix product that carries a high price tag but cleans the hair thoroughly. I bought this product when it was on sale in the grocery store.; I smelled it and was hooked. I shampooed with it and loved the smell while applying it and how it made my hair feel. My hair seems healthier after I started using it. I have since tried several of the other Organix products but liking the vanilla one the best. It's got a creamy texture and creates a nice volume of lather while shampooing. Washes clean and leaves hair smelling good. The product is on the pricey side I find when you find something you love it's worth it. There is also a matching conditioner which smells equally great and does just as good of job as well. I avoid the priceyness by stocking up when it is on sale. Effectiveness leaves hair feeling clean, shiney and managable Scent smells fantastic

**I love Organix Vanilla silk shampoo. It is a taste of summer at the beach for me . The scent is of exotic ****lands that I can dream of relaxing at. With my coarse hair this is one of the few shampoos that adds body and less frizz and leaves my hair smooth and silky and heavenly smelling!** **A funny side affect of this shampoo is that my Beagle Mali loves when I have just washed my hair and she can run through my hair! - I have always used cheaper shampoos but my hair, which is baby fine, always lay limp and flat and dull.  No matter what shampoo i'd use.  Then one day i was smelling the higher priced shampoos and picked up the Organix soft and silky vanilla silk shampoo.  I was hooked I had to try this indulgent smelling shampoo.  I was in heaven it smelled absolutely the way it had in the bottle.  But even better my hair is shiny and bouncy  for the first time in my life.
