I used Origins Stay Tuned Balancing Face Makeup while a teenager. I like a lot of coverage so that's why I decided to use this makeup. I have to say that it does provide excellent coverage, but unfortunately it provides a little too much coverage. It was very thick and heavy feeling on my skin. If my face got wet at all (drinking a drink, etc.) then my face would streak and you could see where makeup was missing. I always had to keep makeup with me just in case to make sure that I didn't have streaks on my face where the makeup was missing. It was also just really messy. Once I switched to a powder makeup then I realized just how messy this liquid makeup truly was. Not to mention I flew through sponges using this makeup because they were always drenched in makeup as sponges love to soak up this makeup. It never felt dry on my face either. I use a creme-to-powder foundation and it dries so fast. This one never felt like it dried. I would not use this makeup again unless they have changed it since the last time I tried it.

I absolutely LOVE this balancing face makeup! I've been using it for over two years and its my absolute favorite. I have had many discolorations on my face (due to a "pregnancy mask" with my third child) and I was trying to find a good foundation to cover my skin. The girls at the make-up counter introduced me to this one, matched my exact skin color, and showed me how well it can cover. This foundation is smooth and creamy, but when wearing it you can hardly notice you have it on. It almost goes on like a luxurious skin cream. It covers and spreads evenly, and lasts all day long. I've never had a problem with my make-up "melting" in the hot sun (and I live in CA). It stays on and covers what it needs to, and I still feel like I have a clean face. I use this foundation, along with Origins face powder to set it. I absolutely love that the Origins line also uses natural ingredients and stays away from parabans in their make-up. I love this foundation so much, I have been giving it to my sisters for their birthday gifts!!

Due to aging, sensitive skin, the type of foundation I need has changed with the times. With so many products on the market promising the consumer so many things, it becomes difficult finding a product that not only works but it cost effective. Deciding to try Origins Stay Tuned Balancing Face Makeup was a blessing! Not only does it even out skin tones and gives my face a dewy look, I feel that the appearance of my skin has improved greatly.

This foundation has quickly become my go-to foundation. The Origins sales people will find the right color for you so no more spending money on foundation that's the wrong shade. It's a liquid medium coverage foundation. I'm an NC30 in MAC shades and actually, 3 shades of this foundation would have worked fine however I chose the shade Beach. From what I've seen, they don't have that many shades for darker skintones but they have a decent variety of colors and undertones. After some experimenting, I've found I prefer to use this foundation just with my fingers. I don't know if that works best for everyone though. Also, I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin because it can make you look oilier. I also have a few scars from acne so I add a little bit of concealer on top but it offers pretty good coverage and helps even out your skin tone. It gives a dewy finish but not oily on me and is definitely not matte. It's a great everyday foundation and I recommend checking it out.

I am of English/Danish/French descent and, therefore, have skin that is very, VERY fair.  Finding a foundation make-up that actually matches my skin and doesn't just look like a brown mask is incredibly difficult for me.  I have actually been told by cosmetics salespeople for certain department store lines, "I'm sorry.  We just don't have anything that will work for you."  Finally, someone told me about Origins.  I had been joking that my face is as white as typing paper and that maybe I should just use white typing correction fluid as make-up.  My friend said, "Well, Origins has a shade called 'paper white.'  You should try that!"  I do not know if they really have a shade with that name, but I do know that they actually have liquid foundation that is pale enough to match even MY skin!  Another really cool thing about Origins is that they have different levels of coverage.  You can go from very sheer to complete coverage and get exactly the look you want.  The foundation goes on very well, without streaking or blotching up on your skin.  It is a pretty good value, too.  It costs considerably less than many other department store brands.  And, as if all that were not enough, Origins is also very environmentally aware.  They offer a recycling program where you can return empty cosmetics containers to them, EVEN IF THEY ARE FROM ANOTHER BRAND, for recycling.  I find that pretty amazing!  This is a win-win situation for all!

I thought that maybe it really didn't matter what brand I got. I was sure that i should just go out and buy the cheapest one or the one that maybe was on sale. That is how I pick out most of my products. But I was not sure about this. I used to just do that with make up but I was not getting the results that I wanted to get. I would often feel slimmy and oily by the end of the day. I would hope that with the active life that I live there would be make up that could keep with with my active life style. I also worried b/c my new born was touching my face and kissing and eating it when she was hungry and i did not want her to eat and touch oil and stuff that she could not put in her mouth. the days i wear Origins 'stay TunedTM' Balancing Face Makeup i can hardly tell b/c i just feel so good by the end of the day. I am happier b/c i am doing something for my self and making my self feel pretty at the start of every day and that is what helps me stay in a good mood when i have to stay up late nights
